1 Deadline Scholarship Eligibility Criteria Amount 03/15/2016 Until 06/01/2016 Horatio Alger Scholarship Opportunity for CTE Students The Horatio Alger National Career and Technical Scholarship Program, offers 510 scholarships up to $2,500 each to students pursuing a career or technical certificate and or degree at a community college. The scholarships are made possible through the Horatio Alger Endowment Fund. March 15-June 1. 03/23/2016 Katy Area Retired Educators Scholarship Graduating senior in Katy ISD Demonstrated financial need Clearly defined career goal in education Typed essay (1 page) describing why applicant wants to teach and why applicant thinks he/she would be a worth recipient of the scholarship $1,000 scholarship 03/24/2016 deadline Athletic Booster Club Scholarship 2016 Awarded to at least two male and two female recipients. Will be announced Tuesday, May 24, 7:00 p.m. Athlete/family was a member of OTHS-ABC for required number of years(based on attendance at OTHS) Senior and participates in athletics at OTHS Athlete plans to attend a college, university or trade school following graduation.
