Student must have a parent or relative who is a firefighter, police officer or EMT. Student may also be one, must display a form of volunteerism or community service. 5 Berlin Community Home & School Association 3 - $300 Checks The student must be a graduate of Berlin Community School. Not just a Berlin resident. 3 senior class members with the highest GPA.

2 6 Berlin Lions Club 1 - $300 Savings Bond Graduating senior who during their four years at Eastern has shown the most improvement scholastically. Must have been active in some community service and must be a resident of Berlin Borough. 7 Berlin Rotary Club 1 - $1,000 Check - Recipient must live in Berlin Borough or Berlin Township. Must also exhibit a high degree of good fellowship, tolerance, respect for authority and for the rights of others, honesty and courtesy. 8 Berlin Rotary Club Joyce Iuliano Memorial Award 1 - $1,000 Check Resident of Berlin Borough or Berlin Township, member of Interact, good citizen, community minded, well-rounded and exemplify service above self. 9 Brodie (Otis) Memorial Scholarship 10 Camden County Bar Association 11 Cardamone (Sue) Memorial Scholarship 1 - $100 male graduate and 1 - $100 female graduate checks Special education boy or girl and member of African American Cultural Club with GPA of at least 2.5 planning to attend any post secondary education. Or a special education boy or girl of color with GPA of at least 2.5 planning to attend any post secondary education. Or a boy or girl of color with GPA of at least 2.5 planning to attend any post secondary education. Minimum $ Graduation in the top 20% of the class. Active participation in school and/or community organizations or events. Plans to further his or her education in the law or law-related disciplines such as law enforcement, social work or government. # of Awards & Amounts TBD Berlin Community School Alumni who has learned and utilized the Six Pillars of Character Education. In a 500-word essay, explain what activities you participate in (academic, athletic, cultural, community related, occupational, etc.) that most build and reflect your character. Be sure to include examples of how these activities have affected your life and the lives of those around you.

3 12 Dammer (Kyle) Art Scholarship 1 - $500 Check An average student who has a passion for the arts, is attending an art school and has struggled academically and/or financially. 13 Eastern Education Association Philanthropic Scholarship # of Awards & Amounts TBD - Will award scholarships to Eastern High School students who are planning to enter the education profession. The recipient needs to complete the Eastern Education Association Philanthropic Fund, Inc. Scholarship Application. The recipient must qualify for a high school diploma and be enrolled in or accepted by an accredited institution of his/her choice. Eligibility is limited to Eastern High School seniors. Class rank, difficulty of courses, and grade point average will be taken into consideration. The recipient must be endorsed by the Selection Committee. Immediate family members of ECCRSD staff may not receive the scholarship. 14 Eastern Education Foundation Family and Friends 4 - $500 Checks At least a 2.5 GPA, plans to continue their education and actively participates in the education community. 15 Eastern Regional High School Alumni Association 1 - $1,000 Visa gift card and medallion Must carry a 3.2% GPA, intention of going to a post graduate education program or training school with acceptance in a program by the time of application (proof of acceptance is required), student has volunteered within the Eastern Community, essay of 500 words or less on ONE of these topics: Describe the positive impact you have had on the local community, what does community mean to you, what positive impact has Eastern had on you: Other considerations: Student in need, greatly improved academic standing during high school career, not a student who has already received a full ride. 4 16 Eastern Theatre Boosters $500 - $2,000 - Check (it may be split between few applicants) Applicant must have participated in a minimum of 2 major EHS theatre activities (Fall, play team theatre, spring musical or One Acts) in each of 2 separate school years. Memorial Scholarship 18 Filipiniana Youth Award 1 - $500 Scholarship for student attending two (2) year college 1 - $1,000 Scholarship for student attending four (4) year college. Offered by the Trustees and Friends of the Marie Fleche Memorial Library. Check sent directly to college recipient is attending. Berlin Borough resident. Must demonstrate exemplary performance in school activities, community service, academic achievement and scholarship. Applications, essays and transcripts are due to the library by 1pm on April 25 th. Play softball at least 2 years for VGSA and 1 year for Eastern Softball. Hope to work w/ or help children and has overcome obstacles in their life. 1 - $500 Check Student must have worked with children or intends to pursue a career in education. 2 - $1,000 Savings Bonds Essay about how the VBA has helped you. 42 Voorhees Breakfast Rotary Club Jean Clementi Memorial Scholarship 2 - $500 Checks Good academics, community, school and interact involvement. 43 Voorhees Business Association 2 - $750 Checks Students that have performed community service during their years at Eastern Regional High School. 44 Voorhees Cultural & Diversity Scholarship Achievement Award 4 - $100 Checks & Certificates Min. 2.5 GPA. Be in good standing and a good citizen. Provide a transcript and a letter of college/military acceptance. Write a brief essay and or bio. Stating how you have fostered diversity in your school, community and/or church. Essay should be words in length. 45 Voorhees Soccer Association 1 - $500 Male and 1 - $500 Female Check Must have participated in VSA Program. One page essay on experience in VSA and how it has impacted your life. 46 Voorhees Township Education Association 4 - $1,000 One graduate from each of the Voorhees elementary school who also graduated from VMS.

8 47 Voorhees Township Police Patrol Officers Association 1 - $200 Check Any Berlin Borough or Voorhees student who has good moral character, has been instrumental in helping resolve student conflicts and or participated in Peer Mediation that has enhanced the harmony of the student body.
