UNDER FLOOR AIR CONDITIONING SAVE MONEY AND TRANSFORM YOUR WORK SPACE flexiblespace.com

Making use of a raised access floor system as the ventilation duct introduces so many ways to save; reverse your thinking and enjoy the benefits... from design through construction, and in operation... Create high quality indoor workspace with superior flexibility, adaptable and easily reconfigured. Ideal for commercial offices, learning centres and mixed use space. Experience full functional control of the indoor environment, with personal adjustment of air flow and temperature for optimum user comfort and system efficiency.

BENEFITS Why use under floor... Architectural design freedom One system for both heating and cooling Increased flexibility, easily reconfigured Faster construction time Reduced construction costs Overcome planning constraints Height saving advantages Energy efficient operation Reduced maintenance Excellent indoor air quality Optimum user comfort Improve LEED & BREEAM points Attract capital allowances Maximise rentable space In NEW BUILDINGS Flexible Space offers HEIGHT SAVINGS In REFURBISHMENTS Flexible Space offers INCREASED HEADROOM Eliminating the ceiling based services can... 1. Maximise floor to ceiling height with increased headroom in refurbishments 2. Height saving through the absence of a ceiling plant in new builds FEATURES What makes our systems different... Choose from zonal downflow, or all air central plant systems Cooling loads in excess of 200W/m2 Compatible with most types of raised access floor All units with EC Fans as an option DX units for single zone applications Floor voids of 180mm 350mm Personal control for occupants Modular plug and play components Wide variety of grille configurations, colours and shapes Central or remote monitoring and control

OPTION 1 CAM-C SYSTEM Floor level supply air, floor level return air Zonal mixing systems with downflow units (CAM) supplying conditioned air Constant air volume, variable temperature supply Air segregation baffle used to separate floor void into supply and return plena Best option for limited headroom refurbishments or height saving in new buildings CAM-C SYSTEM CORE PRODUCTS CAM-C Downflow Unit The CAM-C delivers conditioned air into the supply plenum and receives return air via the under floor plenum for re-conditioning. Return Air Grille Air grille composed of light aluminium alloy, designed to be walked upon and height adjustable. Fantile (Fan Terminal Unit) The Fantile extracts conditioned air from the plenum below the raised floor and re-circulates room air. Standard and slimline models available with AC or EC fan option. Air Segregation Baffle Fire resistant cloth used to divide the under floor plenum into supply and return air paths. Supply Air Grille For use with Fantile units, with hatch access to integrated Fatronic controller.

OPTION 2 CAM-V SYSTEM Floor level supply air, high level return air Zonal system with downflow units (CAM) supplying conditioned air locally Variable air volume and temperature supply Wide range of performance capacities Easy reconfiguration as return air at high level, no division of plenum CAM-V SYSTEM CORE PRODUCTS CAM-V Downflow Unit The CAM-V delivers conditioned air into the supply plenum and receives return air at high level for re-conditioning. Fantile (Fan Terminal Unit) The Fantile extracts conditioned air from the plenum below the raised floor and re-circulates room air. Standard and slimline models available with AC or EC fan option. Supply Air Grille For use with Fantile units, with hatch access to integrated Fatronic controller.

CAM-C AND CAM-V SYSTEMS ADDITIONAL COMPONENTS Raised Access Floor Essential for all UFAC systems, the floor plenum beneath an access floor becomes the ventilation duct for the supply of conditioned air via a Fantile. A substructure with stringers is recommended for maximum air tightness. Fatronic Controller Integrated controller for terminal units allowing individual user control, for example, fan speed and temperature adjustment. Flexmatic Display Interface unit allowing access to CAM Flexface controller, terminal units and communications between zones. FSS COMMUNICATIONS Flexible Space Systems can easily be configured according to client s preferences, with a number of communications options depending on the system and specified requirements. OPTIONAL EXTRAS Fresh Air Module Draws additional fresh air from outside and delivers into the CAM to mix with supply air. Console Terminal Until (CTU) Floor standing terminal for use in areas not suited to floor recessed terminal units, for example kitchen areas and canteens.

OPTION 3 CAM-P SYSTEM Floor level supply air, high level return air Displacement System *based on Airfixture technology All-air pressurised system supplied by the central plant Displacement, constant and variable air volume Maximise free cooling availability Passive and/or fan powered terminals CAM-P SYSTEM CORE PRODUCTS Passive VAV Terminal Unit Floor Terminal Unit used to introduce conditioned air from the plenum into the occupied space. SATG Air Grille Standard grille for use with CAM-P displacement ventilation system, other models available. CAM-P COMMUNICATIONS The CAM-P system is easily configured according to client s preferences. PTU s in each zone are connected in series and controlled via the PTEC zone controller.
