The hot water module with stainless steel storage tank, the heat pump module with reversible air to air and air to water heatpump for heating and cooling, the ventilation and energy recovery module with energy saving fans and a rotary heat exchanger with recovery of humidity in winter and dehumidification in summer. Ventilation will be done as usual by two fans. Heating or cooling of the rooms will be provided through the supply or recirculation air ducts. Electrical PTC elements in the supply air elements allow independent control of individual rooms, and if necessary, balance extreme outdoor temperatures. Compared to conventional systems, the Systemair Central Building Services Unit Genius offers additional advantages, all combined in one unit: Ventilation Heat recovery Humidity recovery (winter) and dehumidification (summer) Low energy use No extra radiators required Intelligent single room control CO2 and humidity control Energy saving fans Hot water production parallel to heating operation Control system for the the complete building services, designed for efficient comfort operation

5 Residential ventilation today and tomorrow According to current European standards each apartment whether newly built or renovated - must have a certain and continuous exchange of air for to preserve the building structure and to fulfil certain hygienic standards. The end energy efficiency guideline 2006/32/EU of the European Parliament and the European Council requires that each building erected after 31st of December 2018 has to produce as much energy as it uses. Against this background, which is the demand for amost zero energy houses, energy recovery systems have a new significance. Systemair offers a new alternative for an intelligent way to save energy: The new Central Building Services Unit together with duct systems, special valves and the system control. Systemair combines two systems presently used to distribute heat and air in a modern house into one. Using the new Central Building Services Unit is a cost saving installation and at the same time it is increasing the comfort of living.
