ADVANCED DIPLOMA OF WORK HEALTH AND SAFETY Description Are you an experienced Work Health and Safety practitioner? Have your skills recognised and receive this qualification through Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL). This qualification is suitable for people who apply advanced practical knowledge to coordinate, facilitate and maintain the Work Health and Safety (WHS) program in one or more fields of work in an organisation, such as a WHS practitioner or HR practitioner. They may work under the guidance of an occupational health and safety professional. Career Outcomes On successful completion of this course the participant will receive an Advanced Diploma ofwork Health and Safety (BSB60615). Job roles and titles vary across different industry sectors. Entry Requirements All core units from Diploma of Work Health and Safety (BSB51315) or equivalent competencies. Equivalent competencies are predecessors to the following units which have been mapped as equivalent: BSBWHS402 Assist with compliance with WHS laws BSBWHS502 Manage effective WHS consultation and participation processes BSBWHS503 Contribute to the systematic management of WHS risk BSBWHS504 Manage WHS risks BSBWHS505 Investigate WHS incidents BSBWHS506 Contribute to developing, implementing and maintaining WHS management systems Subjects Total number of units = 8 5 core units 3 elective units

Delivery & Assessment For each unit of competency, candidates will be given the option to demonstrate competency through a combination of any of the following: Written or verbal questions demonstrating the required knowledge Case studies or practical activities demonstrating the required skills Projects based on a real or simulated workplace Portfolio of evidence which may include: Prior qualifications, both accredited and non-accredited Employment history such as position descriptions and performance appraisals Industry appointments such as board and committee roles Publications and journals Samples of work and other relevant documents, photos, videos, etc. Testimonials and other references from verifiable sources Each candidate is assessed individually. Our assessment team will validate the evidence supplied and conduct mapping against the evidence requirements for each unit. Where required, assessors will request additional evidence and provide guidance on suitable types of evidence for the candidate to supply.
Course Fees The cost of this qualification is : $2000 We accept payments by cash, cheque, bank deposit and credit card (Visa, MasterCard and American Express). Save money with Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) A non-refundable 10% deposit is required to commence the assessment process. The balance is payable after the assessment mapping is complete prior to the qualification being issued. Candidates may submit their resume (or similar work history) and prior qualifications for a no-obligation initial assessment at no cost. This free assessment cannot guarantee that candidates will be eligible for this qualification entirely through RPL as all evidence must be reviewed and mapped to make this determination.
