Secure Recovery: Working in the Sussex Secure and Forensic Service Sussex Secure and Forensic Services are provided by Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, a specialist NHS provider of mental health, substance misuse and learning disability services. We are a long-established NHS service with an outstanding track record of success. We provide a complete service for mentallydisordered offenders across the whole care pathway, both in a secure environment and through to case management in the community. We also work alongside Criminal Justice Agencies to support the work of Public Protection and Integrated Offender Management Teams. Our work in Criminal Justice Liaison is nationally recognised. We have recently invested 15 million in the development and expansion of this specialist NHS service. We are currently building a new state of the art building which will provide a first class therapeutic environment to the people who need our care and treatment. The Sussex Secure and Forensic Service includes: Medium secure - Male admission and high dependency - Male treatment and recovery - Male slow stream treatment and recovery - Female services Low secure recovery male and female Each ward is staffed by a multi-disciplinary team of: Consultants Staff grade doctors Nurses Psychologists Support staff Occupational therapists Other therapists Social workers Everyone on the team helps deliver the therapy and care programmes, whether in groups or in one-to-one sessions. You will develop skills and qualifications through continual training and supervision in a flexible, multi-disciplinary team. Training and development We are serious about your training and development. We will make sure you receive high quality training and that you are up to date with current best practice. By being part of our team you will have your own personal training and development plan.
