COMPANY PROFILE AĞIRMAN MAKİNA OTOMOTİV AT A GLANCE... AĞIRMAN MAKİNA OTOMOTİV CO., LTD is one of the leading machining company in TURKEY. Customer portfolio is constituted of automotive key industries. Founded in 1984 by Mustafa Ağırman under the name of AKÇA OTOMAT as a supplier of TOFAŞ. In 1994, renamed as AĞIRMAN MAKİNA OTOMOTİV CO., LTD. In 2000, QS 9000 was obtained and adapted. In 2001, started production to RENAULT TURKEY. In 2002, AĞIRMAN MAKİNA OTOMOTİV CO., LTD. carried out its first exportation to FRANCE. In 2003, ISO/TS 16949 quality system superseded of QS 9000. In 2005, AĞIRMAN MAKİNA OTOMOTİV CO., LTD. moved into the new building in NOSAB industrial estate In 2005, started production to FIAT ITALY. In 2007, ISO 14001 was obtained and adapted. In 2010, started production to DYTECH ITALY. 4

PRODUCTION ABILITIES The whole machinery pool of AĞIRMAN MAKİNA was choisen aplicable for mass manufacturing. & since its foundation, the company muchly focused on making production for key automotive industries. 7
PRODUCTION ABILITIES The production processes are specialized on turnery, milling, grinding, induction hardening and tempering. After the reception of raw material,according to process flows, production is commenced in CNC turning, CNC horizontal&vertical machining centers, surface & centerless grinding machines, saw machines, thread rolling, broaching machines and induction hardening machines. 8

HUMAN RESOURCES OCUPATIONAL HEALTH AND SAFETY POLICY: AĞıRMAN considers people to be its most valuable asset and adopts elimination of any potential loss and continous improvement as its primary business objective by creating a safer and healthier working environment. Health of our employees is promoted and injuries and sicknesses are avoided by the participation of everyone involved in the organization and strict compliance with the created occupational health and safety standards. Ağırman managers are responsible for the occupational health and safety of all the employees working under their management or control. In order to achieve the goal of zero occupational accident and sickness, risks originating from our operations, new products, processes and changes in engineering are identified and evaluated, and such risks are eliminated or brought to an acceptable level through studies.the appropriate skills and competencies related to occupational health and safety are provided for our employees and their awareness is raised through our informational and educational programs. HUMAN RESOURCES TRAINING Great importance is given to personnel training in Ağırman Makina. Such training begins with an comprehensive introduction to the work place and adaptive training when employees join the company. In order to maximize personnel efficiency and production quality, continues training is given on the operation of the lathe and other reliated machinery. Additionally, training continues in the matters of measuring tools and measuring techniques, technical documentation, workplace safety, fire safety, employee feedback systems, zero fault system, cleaning and care and quality control system. 42
