2 FOUNDRY G. R. S.r.l. company is an aluminium castings foundry specializing in fully finished chill castings and die casting. All the production steps are executed, from the design to the final production, with possible shell molding process. In this sector the company guarantees a production of the highest technology and duration in future. The specific quality of the required article is guaranteed through chemical and physical tests. All the fusion production can be made using tool machines with numeric control. 2

3 DESIGN Founded in 1973, G.R. S.r. l. is a firm specialized in designing and constructing molds. Through our research program we have consistently met the needs of a clientele which has increasingly more challenging requirements in widely different industrial sectors. A key role is played by our technicians and designers who, in exploiting their long and diversified experience, work closely with the client to obtain the best solutions. The designs of the dies are created by using state-of- the-art CAD/CAM programs, linked directly to the die construction division. 3

4 DIE CONSTRUCTION FOR ALUMINIUM The division is equipped with the most advanced equipment in making dies, including grinders, CNC milling machines, wire-cut and plunge Electron Discharge Machining. The equipment allows us to deliver dies with dimensions of up to 3000 x 1500 x 1500 mm. The dies are made of best-quality materials, hardened and tempered at controlled hardness and PVD coated if required. Testing is performed in the pressing division and the samples are made available to the customer for inspection and approval. The archiving of our work programs coupled with the high precision of all items produced allows us to guarantee perfect interchangeability of spare parts. The quality of our products translates into high performance and unrivaled reliability. 4
