Spll Crew low profle bunds connect seamlessly together wth jonng strps. Use our sump-to-sump bund connectors to ncrease the capacty of the bund - and elmnate the need for contnuous calculaton for each one. Spll Crew low profle bunds are constructed from tough polyethylene and feature removable polypropylene grates. Ths provdes superor corroson resstance to a wde range of chemcals, ols and fuels. Plus all Spll Crew low profle spll pallets feature encapsulated data plates whch provde nstructons for the operator, load-bearng capactes, bund volume and materals of constructon. R SYSTEMS JOINING STRIPS - AVAILABLE IN TWO LENGTHS To jon the bunds together, smply push the U-shaped channel down the length of the jon. Above s a jonng strp ready to be nserted. The strp holds the two bunds together and prevents splls from seepng between the bunds. Push the strp down to hold the abuttng bund walls together. We regularly hear of spll pallets and bunds collapsng or dstortng n the Australan heat, sendng IBCs and drums to the ground wth ther contents spllng dangerously across the workplace. Whlst ths may n part be attrbuted to poorly-postoned pallets (not on level ground), t s mportant to remember that mported bunds are not manufactured for the extremes of Australan summer condtons. Imported bunds often have thn walls or added fllers to reduce costs, whch results n bunds collapsng or dstortng n the Australan heat. Spll Crew s heavy-wall spll pallets are manufactured from 100% rotatonally-moulded polyethylene and are load tested by NATA accredted engneers n Vctora, Australa.
