Wireless Configuration for Windows 7 Frostburg State University offers wireless service to all employees and students which can be accessed almost anywhere on campus. Network and Sharing Windows 7 includes a feature called the Network and Sharing Center. This feature allows you to monitor the status of your network connection, connect to other networks, and troubleshoot any network issues you may have. In this document, we will guide you through the process of connecting to the wireless network using Windows 7. Open the Network and Sharing Center You can open the Network and Sharing Center by right-clicking the network icon (circles below) located at the bottom right of your screen, next to the clock. A menu should appear, with the last option being the Network and Sharing Center. Left-Click on it to have the Network and Sharing Center windows appear. If you have trouble looking for the network icon, you can also open the Network and Sharing Center by clicking on the Windows Start button and typing Network and Sharing to have a link to the Network and Sharing Center appear at the top of the menu.
