5 6. Select Manually Create a Network Profile 7. Add the following and this is case sensitive. a. Network name: WCC-Secure b. Security type: WPA2-Enterprise c. Encryption Type: AES d. Make sure Start this connection automatically is selected How-To-WCC-Secure-Windows-7-11/4/2010-4:09 PM Page 5 of 11

7 9. Select Change connection Settings 10. WCC-Secure Network Properties window will appear 11. Select the Security Tab 12. Click on the Settings button next to the Choose a Network Authentication Method How-To-WCC-Secure-Windows-7-11/4/2010-4:09 PM Page 7 of 11
8 13. Uncheck Validate server certificate 14. Click the Configure button under Select Authentication Method 15. Uncheck Automatically use my Windows logon name and password (and domain if any). 16. Click OK 17. Click OK again. How-To-WCC-Secure-Windows-7-11/4/2010-4:09 PM Page 8 of 11

11 23. Now try to connect to the wireless network (Windows 7 Only) 24. Click Connect 25. Now a dialog appears asking for your user credentials. Enter your X-number and mywcc/network password. 26. Click OK 27. If you entered your password correctly you should now be connected.
