Check our EVENT SCHEDULE to find out more about available classes and special events! Madelintosh Surprise late last Friday afternoon the wonderful people at Madelintosh called us! Our order isn't ready but they had some "extra" hanks of Merino DK that we were more than happy to take off their hands! The order came in today and we managed to get it out of the box before it started going out the door!
Of course, as soon as we knew the yarn was coming we wanted to find some great projects for it, which wasn't a problem there are almost 4000 projects on Ravelry using just this weight of Madelintosh! Here are just a few of our favorites The Stella Hat, which of course we couldn't pass up, is a really cute, and free, Madelintosh pattern! And even better, one knitter has taken the pattern stitch and made it into a Stella Cowl!
The Honey Cowl is another free Madelintosh download and one that has been made many times at Baskets of Yarn!
Finally, although there are many many more the Milanese Loop is another free download and an absolutely gorgeous pattern!
Any of these would make a great project to showcase these incredible Madelintosh colors! BoY Bag Discount Beginning today, use either of the BoY logo bags shown below to carry away your purchase from the shop and receive a $1 dollar discount on your purchase!

Make it easier on yourself by weaving them in as you go. Place the needle or hook in the next stitch and, before wrapping it, lay the yarn tail over the working yarn. Now work the next stitch and the tail is now fastened in. Repeat this for at least 1½ to 2 inches making sure to carry the yarn tail loosely to avoid puckering - Voila!
