2 Brand and web development. Branding doesn t just apply to print you know. To have a successfully, consistent brand it has to be carried over to your online presence as well. I don t just mean your website either. Your social media profiles and pages should all have the same logo, color combinations and similar graphics so that your viewers know for real and for true that it s your page they re visiting. This document is a brief that I use to evaluate your web design needs so that we can create an awesome site within your budget and deadline. But this isn t just about your website... I use it to get to know YOU as well. You can fill it out how ever you want. Print it and handwrite your answers or fill it out electronically and it to me. What ever gets your creative business branding juices flowing. My mission, my vision for you is to help you build strong connections with their audience. 4 ABOUT your Company I d like to find out about where your business came from. Answer as thoroughly and honestly as you can. If you don t have an answer then this would be a good time to take a few moments to think about it. After all, this is your business. It deserves a some thought, and a great logo. Company History Tell me when you first started your business or how long you ve been developing the concept. Tell me where you were, what events in your life drew you toward starting your business. 2

6 ABOUT Your Company Products and Services Tell me about the products and / or services your business will offer. How do they set you apart from your competitors? Keywords Give me three keywords to best describe your business. 4

7 ABOUT COMPANY your Goals Company Short-term: think about what you d like to achieve over the next year. Long-term: think about where you re headed in the next five years. Let s plan for these goals and optimize your brand to help you achieve them. *The first two fields under each heading are required. Short-term Long-term

8 WHO ARE your Competitors Knowing your competition. Who are you in direct competition with? Everyone has competitors. If people were going to buy something similar to what you offer, where would they get it? Pinpointing your competitors is the best way to stand apart. Once we have a few competitors in mind, we can look at their sites and figure out how to provide an even more awesome web experience. 6

10 DESIGN Preferences What colors would you like to see used in the design? What style are you trying to achieve? Modern or traditional? Serious business or lots of fun?
