Preface We wish all members of the Scandinavian Sarcoma Group and members of other European sarcoma groups welcome to our 33 rd annual meeting in Bergen, Norway, May 8 11, 2007. We are very glad to have with us as invited speakers Professor R.D. Issels, Dr. G. Gosheger and Dr. M. Perisoglou. During this meeting we will focus on the status of EURAMOS I, a Pan-European/American osteosarcoma study, our results in Ewing s sarcoma (ISG/SSG I) and future directions. A new protocol for high risk soft tissue sarcoma patients will be presented (SSG XX). Under Free papers session two theses entitled Genetic Profiling in Soft Tissue Sarcoma, Princy Francis, and Soft Tissue Sarcoma Patterns, multiplicity, heterogeneity, and growth characteristics, Josefin Fernebro, will be presented. We hope that all SSG members and other European sarcoma group members learn to know each other still better witch will deepen our cooperation for the future, in the beautiful Bergen environment in Norway.
