Bachelor of Business GBS5 2015 Program Structure (For students commencing 2015) The Bachelor of Business is awarded on completion of 24 semester-length courses taken over three years full-time (on-campus) or six years parttime study (online) based on the following requirements: (a) A candidate must complete 24 semester courses (b) A candidate must complete the following six compulsory courses: ACGGC1000 Principles of Accounting and Finance (S1) ETGGC1102 Business Statistics () BTGGC1200 Business Law () MGGGC1010 Introduction to (S1) ECGGC1101 Introductory Microeconomics (S1) MKGGC1120 Marketing Theory and Practice (S1) (c) at least one major consisting of eight courses from the faculty areas of study including at least two courses at each of second and third year level; (d) up to ten courses may be taken at first year level; (e) at least six third year level courses of which at least four must be taken from courses offered by the Faculty on the Gippsland campus; (f) up to eight courses may be taken from other faculties of the university; Students have the option of choosing two majors or combining a single major with one or more professional specialisations.
