Introduction Welcome to IQProtector for mobile the application that enables you to work with encrypted email and attachments while working with your native email application. Secure Islands developed this light and easy-to-use application that allows you to read your protected emails everywhere via your mobile device. This solution does not require any special preparations and allows you to read any email that is protected by Secure Islands IQProtector. Supported Versions : Version 4.4 and above : ios 8.0 and above ipad: ios 8.0 and above Downloading and Installing the Application Download and install the IQProtector application from Google Play or App Store.
Opening a Protected Email When you receive an email protected by IQProtector, it is first displayed as an introductory email with a protected attachment. Step 1 Viewing the email with the attached message When opening an encrypted email on your mobile device, the following message is displayed: The introductory text contains instructions on how to download the IQProtector mobile application and how to view the email message.
Step 2 Opening the message attachment After downloading the application according to the instructions, click the message attachment to view its content.
When you click the attachment, if using, you are prompted to select the application with which to open the email message. In, if you do not have other applications that open protected messages, the message will be opened automatically. Prompted to select only if you have other similar applications.
Step 3 Filling in your credentials The first time you open a protected email message, you are prompted to fill in your credentials for the RMS. Enter the user name and password for your organization. After you are confirmed by the RMS server, you will be redirected to a second location where you will be prompted for your password once more. This happens only the first time you access a protected email message (or after deleting your cache memory).
Step 4 Viewing the protected message Once you are signed-in, the protected message is displayed with the classification in its header.
Step 5 If the message contains an attachment If the email message contains an attachment, open it with the relevant third-party application that supports RMS protection.
Email Options Clicking on the three dots on the right side of the screen opens a list of options that you can perform with this email. The options that you see depend on your permissions. The options are as follows: Print allows you to print the email, if you have the permissions Share allows you to share the email s content using other applications Permissions opens a screen with details of your permissions (see below) Settings Not available yet Start Tour start a quick tour of the application
Permissions Screen The Permissions screen contains details about the protection applied to the email, as well as the permissions allowed by this protection.
