Enjoy the convenience, security and ease of these business-ready benefits: Manage your personal and business accounts. Grant varying levels of access to key users even your CPA. Not available with all accounts. Protect your account with our enhanced level of security. Unique numerical codes provide an additional layer of ID protection at sign on. Transfer funds online between your Hancock Bank accounts and conduct external transfers between deposit accounts. Schedule and pay bills* from your business and personal accounts. Set up recurring payments to be made automatically at the frequency you specify. Set up notifications to be sent to your email address about account balances, when specific checks clear and when deposits are processed. Access online and view, print or save your account information. Manage your money easily by downloading your account information to financial software like Quicken or QuickBooks. Let s take a quick look at the security measures at each stop along the way. at Your Computer Like any good security system, it starts with the user. Wherever you choose to do your Business Online Banking, make sure no one else uses or has access to the computer without your permission. Passwords should be carefully selected and never stored on your computer. Passwords should not be selected from obvious clues like the names of your children or pets. Changing your password every 60 days is great for additional protection. Secure Access Card A Secure Access Card is an optional layer of added security for Business Online Banking users who wish to use basic Business Online Banking functionality. You may sign up for a Secure Access Card by calling 1-800- 448-8812 and selecting the Online Banking option. One of our dedicated associates will walk you through the enrollment process and provide you with a temporary PIN to use until you receive your Secure Access Card in the mail. Once you receive the Secure Access Card, each time you log in, you will be prompted to provide grid coordinates from the card. As the card bearer, only you have access to those grid values adding an extra layer of security to your Online Banking experience. Remember, only one unique card is issued to each user. If you need to add or remove users, please contact Customer Service and select the Online Banking option for assistance. Note: Although the Secure Access Card is optional for many Business Online Banking users, we do require its use for the following Business Online Banking features: ACH Direct Deposit ACH at Hancock Bank At Hancock Bank, we employ the latest security tools to protect your data on all of our computers, including those used for Business Online Banking. Once your information reaches us via the Internet, it passes through yet another layer of security called a firewall which acts as a safeguard for Internet traffic. 3
Securing Data as it Travels Across The Net" Hancock Bank s Business Online Banking system is a secure way to handle your financial transactions. To start, your web browser is required to have 128-bit encryption capability. This feature will prevent anyone from eavesdropping on your data as it travels between you and Hancock Bank. When you log in to Business Online Banking, our computers check that your web browser software can communicate using a 128-bit encryption key. Behind the scenes, and in a matter of milliseconds, your computer and ours randomly pick a number that will serve as the key during your brief time online. As a user, you don t have to do a thing, except make sure you have a version of a web browser that can participate in this process. This type of security is called SSL, which stands for Secure Sockets Layer. It is based on the fact that the pool of possible numbers that can be selected for use during a 128-bit session is very large. So large in fact, that it is practically impossible to guess the number (key) used when scrambling and unscrambling data as it passes between you and Hancock Bank. System Requirements Hancock Bank s Business Online Banking can be accessed from any computer with Internet access and a secure web browser, such as recent versions of Microsoft Internet Explorer or Safari. If your computer operates with Microsoft Windows 2000 or higher; you probably have all the software that is required. VeriSign Secure Site Pro VeriSign is the trusted provider of Internet infrastructure services, protecting more than one million web servers with digital Certificates. Extended Validation (EV) SSL, compatible with most recent browser versions, gives web site visitors an easy and reliable way to establish trust online. For example, SSL Certificates with EV will trigger secured web browsers to display a green address bar. This green address bar shows site visitors the transaction is safe and encrypted. When your site is protected by Secure Site Pro with EV SSL Certificates, you know your transactions are secure and the site can be trusted. 4
ACH Web and Logging In Logging in to Hancock Bank s Business Online Banking is as easy as one, two, three. Just launch your web browser and go to. 5
ACH Web is the first page you see once you log in to Business Online Banking. You can view your current checking, savings, money market and loan balances, view sixteen months of transaction history for each account, view cancelled check images and link to your Business Online Banking profile. This is a great reference and filing system.» Select from the Accounts drop-down. 6
ACH Web The feature offers quick, convenient access to account information and specific transactions.» Select from the Accounts drop-down. Hints: Account History shows detailed information about a selected account. In addition to the account details at the top of the page, there is a listing of transactions from a selected date range. Pending transactions and updated balances may not be available during nightly processing. Your payment may break out further beyond principle or interest, such as in taxes, late fees, escrow amounts, etc. Please contact Customer Service for further details. You can use the feature to view loan history for your loan accounts. When viewing a loan account, you can select the date range you d like to view. 7
ACH Web Set Up Notifications/ With Hancock Bank s Business Online Banking, you can set up alerts and be regularly informed of the status of your account balances. Also, by utilizing the reminders feature, you can be reminded of events on a onetime or regular basis.» Select Notifications from the Accounts drop-down. 8
ACH Web Why wait for the postal service to deliver your monthly statement when you can access it online with Business Online Banking. With, you may view, print or save your most recent account statements. This feature reduces clutter and saves space by allowing you to store statements electronically. It s easy to add this service. Just follow these steps below.» Select from the main menu. To view your statements online, Adobe Reader 7.0 software must be installed on your computer. This product is offered by Adobe as a free download at their website: adobe.com. Hints: Allow access to multiple users, like your CPA. No more distributing paper. They can access it directly (requires Secure Access Card). are conveniently available on a rolling 7-year archive, allowing you to view, print or save your Online Statements online, on your own schedule. 9
ACH Web ACH Web An ACH transfer* is commonly used to expedite direct deposit of payroll and to make electronic state and federal tax payments. Hancock Business Online Banking allows our eligible business customers to enroll in these time saving and efficient services. Once enrolled, you will see the screens below when you log in and select ACH Web. Eligible business customers must receive credit approval and have an eligible business checking account. Call Customer Service at 1-800-448-8812 for more details. A helpful associate will walk you through the enrollment process (requires a Secure Access Card).» Select ACH Web from the Accounts drop-down. 10
ACH Web This feature allows you to set up employees for payroll payments - set the transfer frequency, the account and save the information. Each pay cycle, simply enter the correct payroll amount.» Select ACH Web from the Accounts drop-down, then from the Quick Start Menu. 11
ACH Web Never run to the local branch with a tax payment check again. Initiate a tax payment to the IRS or state agency through the Electronic Federal Tax Payment System (EFTPS) up to 30 days in advance from your home or office. Federal tax type is supported.» Select ACH Web from the Accounts drop-down, then Taxes from the Quick Start menu. 12
ACH Web The feature allows you to submit a stop payment request for a single check. You will need to verify the check has not cleared before placing a stop payment request.» Select from the Accounts drop-down. 13
ACH Web - Transferring funds has never been easier. Quickly transfer money from one Hancock Bank account to another right from your desktop. Manage your ongoing budgeting needs by creating scheduled transfers and choosing from various frequency options. With the Transfers feature, you can control when and how often money will be transferred.» Select from the Transfers drop-down. Hint: You can now transfer funds online from Business, Home Equity and Preferred Lines of Credit. Online advances from BLOC accounts are restricted to those accounts which share the same Tax ID. 14
ACH Web Set up an account at another institution for easy transfers. In order to complete transfers to your external account, you must know the routing number and account number. If you are transferring money from your external account, you must be the owner of the account.*» Select from the Transfers drop-down. 15
ACH Web The Business Online Banking transfer password feature will provide an additional layer of security. If enabled, this prevents unauthorized individuals from transferring funds between your accounts, even if they obtained your Business Online Banking Logon ID and Password. Once enabled, you must enter your password to access the screen. If you have forgotten your password, contact a Business Online Banking customer service representative to have your password reset.» Select from the Transfers drop-down. 16
ACH Web * offers you convenience, cost-savings and best of all, time savings. Now you can receive, view and pay bills all in one place. Pay anyone in the U.S. without ever writing another check.» Select from the main menu. Pay Anyone, Anytime, From Anywhere Payment history is automatically saved for your records. Choose the date you want your payments to be made up to one year in advance. Schedule recurring payments for regularly occurring bills. Edit or delete scheduled payments any time before the processing date. Receive bills with bill presentment, then pay electronically. * Monthly fees may apply. ** A payment fee will be assessed to each. Service requirements may vary. Hints: You may not use to pay governmental fees (such as taxes) or court-directed obligations. You can use from anywhere, but payees must be within the United States. The Expedited Payment feature provides a fast option to meet deadlines and allows you to make rush payments from your computer.** 17
ACH Web Set Up Payees Before you can begin paying bills online, you must first set up one or more payees. A payee is any person or company that you pay, including your utility company, or your credit card company anyone to whom you would normally send a check.» Select, then select My Payees from the left menu. Hint: You can now transfer funds online from Business, Home Equity and Preferred Lines of Credit. Online advances from BLOC accounts are restricted to those accounts which share the same Tax ID. 18
ACH Web With Business Online Banking, your business finances are under your control. The menu allows a multitude of transaction types including electronic, check-based and expedited enabling you to streamline your process of making payments.» Select, then select from the left menu. Hint: Use the feature to make a future-dated or recurring payment in addition to the method just described. 19
ACH Web When you have a payee who will receive payments on a recurring basis, enter the payment details once and all following payments will be made automatically. Payments will continue until the final payment date or when the payment schedule is manually removed.» Select, then select My Payees from the left menu. 20
ACH Web Even after you have scheduled a payment, you can edit or delete a payment up to the time it is processed. This convenient feature gives you the freedom to change the way you make your payments.» Select, then select My Bills from the left menu. Hint: The Cancel button deletes the payment and all future recurring payments made to that payee. If you wish to skip a payment, click Skip instead. 21
ACH Web Receiving your bills electronically is ideal for anyone using, but especially convenient for those who would like to go paperless. With, you can receive and view bills online, from anywhere you have Internet access. You can even have an electronic bill notification (for qualifying billers) sent directly to your email account.» Select, then select Add new payee from the left menu. If your biller is an electronic biller, follow these steps. Hint: When you select the Set up e-bill link, the setup screen will vary depending on the payee s configuration. 22
ACH Web The feature allows you to grant varying levels of access to additional users like your CPA. Contact Customer Service to enroll in this service. Once enrolled, you may enter the users profile in the system and work with our customer service associates to have a Secure Access Card issued and assigned. This service is only available on eligible business checking accounts. Once SubUsers are set up, you may change their profile information, password and account access anytime.» Select User Admin from the main menu. 23
ACH Web We want to make communicating with Hancock Bank quick, convenient and most of all, confidential. Unlike normal email, you can be assured that all your messages sent to and from Hancock Bank are safe and secure.» Select Messages from the Preferences drop-down. Hint: You should never use your personal or business emails to send account numbers or other sensitive information across the Internet. Instead, always use Business Online Banking to send confidential information to us 24
ACH Web The administrator must change the User Password when required (including the first time the administrator logs in to Hancock Bank s Business Online Banking system). Special password characteristics may be imposed to provide a greater degree of security.» Select Change Password from the Preferences submenu. 25
ACH Web The Reports feature enables you to Run Reports, showing a history of transactions you have made during a session of Business Online Banking. The report will show the Date and Time you made the transaction and whether or not it was a successful one.» Select Reports from the Preferences submenu. 26
