Gateway Interventions - Do not miss this Intervention Training! Gateway Interventions would like to invite you to register for our upcoming 3-Day training, February 13-15, 2015! Our invitational intervention process will provide a most exceptional education and training experience. You will learn about realistic intervention strategies and family systems that can provide the addicted individual and their loved ones how to become set free from substance use, addicted patterns, understand generational challenges within the family history, core issues, chose new and healthy ways to engage, restore relational breaches, and proven family systems for continuum of care. We will review the first call and follow up invitation process with the addict, their family and loved ones. We will also spend quality time so you will gain an understanding about the importance of assessment and referral process to the most appropriate treatment program for the addicted individual. Presenting the option of continuum of care services, the documentation process, the contract for services and other logistics is critical to the success of both the interventionist and the clients which include the addict, the family and their loved ones will also be examined as well. Expect a wide range of information, skill sets, system logistics, creating systems to support your overall work with your clients and/or patients and their family. You will begin to create a foundation for yourself as a skilled and trained interventionist. This training is for doctors, clinicians, counselors, ministers, family members and lay people. When you complete the training you will have gleaned from some of the experts in the field of addiction medicine and treatment, realistic and successful information about an invitation intervention and how to successfully refer and

or place the addict in treatment and work with the family systems for long term recovery. You will also leave with a list of contact persons who represent treatment programs we highly recommend for residential and outpatient care in California and throughout the United States. Our experts will consist of an Addiction Medicine and treatment experts, Eating Disorder expert, Relationship Expert, a delightful and passionate professional that will speak to us about the significance of Spirituality, and other individuals who are experts in the field. Unfortunately we ask that food and beverages not be taken into our office. There is wi-fi, copying machines and other office related needs. If you will need information about hotels that are in the immediate area of the training, please contact the office directly and we will forward a list to you. We will also provide you with a list of restaurant's in the local area. We will have WiFi and office space to utilize in the event you need time to take care of business or personal needs during breaks, lunch or after the training end daily. During our 3 day training, our wonderful support team, Clare Brown, Victoria O' Loughlin and Dana Martinez will be available if you need assistance and/or an escort to our offices. The work book, resources and all documents are included in the training. Dr. Rodriguez and other experts will have their books available for purchase during the training. We are also offering the required 6 month Intervention and Continuing Care weekly group supervision. We will provide mentoring and support to assist you with your own cases, and also continue to learn from other seasoned interventionists as they provide weekly updates for cases being supervised. For anyone seeking registration (CIP) there is an additional fee. This training is limited to the first 30 registrants Online registration opens in November 12, 2014 at 6:00 am. The total cost of the Gateway Interventions training is $ 900.00, but we do have a limited number of partial scholarships, see below.

Unless you spoke with Dr. Rodriguez directly and she offered you a full scholarship, we have none remaining. We have had a waiting lists for weeks. You would be required to pay $450.00 the day your register and your balance of $450.00 will be required no later than January 15, 2015. Registration deposits and/ or fees are non-refundable. About Dr. Jessica Rodriguez our Gateway Interventions Training Host and Lead Trainer Dr. J and her twins @ 12 months substance free and no longer homeless. Bio for Dr. Jessica Rodriguez, our Host and Lead Trainer Dr. Jessica Rodriguez is currently the Clinical Director of Gateway Corp and Clinical Consultant and Educator for Onsite Strategies. Her primary focus is promoting evidencebased programs and practices that foster and build assets at the individual and community

levels. Her work in the field of co-occurring treatment, substance abuse-older adults, Reality Therapy and Choice Theory, Cultural Competency, Integrated Treatment Approaches for Complex Addiction and Family Systems, Self Care for the Care Giver and Youth Prevention services, has been presented at national conferences. Her body of work includes workshops, presentations, and written products on topics, which include Strategic Planning and Evaluation, Mental Health, Law, Ethics and Appropriate Decorum, and various Cultural Diversity trainings, Human Resiliency, and Wellness, Lead Management and an overall professional leadership and staff development series. Specifically, Dr. Rodriguez has extensive knowledge and experience in clinical supervision, interventions, co-occurring disorders, trauma, behavior, relationships, CTRT, CBT, DBT, ACT, MET, program evaluation and improving service delivery by identifying factors that affect youth through older adult individuals. Jessica received her doctoral degree in Integrated Psychology, with a focus on addiction, trauma, spiritual integration and family resiliency, in 2004.
