Fruit Street s of Los Angeles adult outpatient program in Venice offers intensive and non-intensive outpatient treatment for men struggling with alcohol or drug addiction. Treatment features individual and group counseling, with a wide range of group sessions that address: recovery dynamics; relapse prevention; life skills; trauma; and anger management. The program also assists with family reunification and referrals to NA/AA meetings, job training and placement and other community services. s outpatient program employs an evidence-based cognitive behavioral approach to addiction treatment for men and women struggling with drug or alcohol abuse disorders. Each client participates in individual and group counseling sessions, outlined in an individualized treatment plan that addresses family dynamics, trauma, anger management, relapse prevention and life skills. Clients also receive referrals to the community for education and vocational needs. Located in a historic building on Venice s beachfront, has provided residential substance abuse treatment and recovery services for men since Up to 50 men receive comprehensive treatment services while acquiring the capacity to reunite with family and achieve economic independence. Treatment services include: individual and group counseling; substance abuse education; mental health services; cognitive behavioral therapy; parenting classes; anger management; relapse prevention; life skills; vocational and educational services; job assistance and placement; a fitness program, and referrals to housing and social services. Designed especially to address the needs of women, and able to accommodate young children, offers gender-responsive, trauma-informed services for women coping with the effects of substance abuse, mental health problems and domestic violence. The facility can accommodate up to 50 women and children and features an outdoor serenity garden, children s play area and space for family meetings. Services include: individual and group therapy; substance abuse education; mental health counseling; and vocational and education services. Emphasis is placed on parenting, child development, and family counseling. The program provides referrals to a network of social service agencies, offering job placement and housing. Since 1979, has offered comprehensive evidence-based residential treatment to men and women suffering from co-occurring substance abuse and mental health disorders. Located on an expansive campus in a Mission-style building which can accommodate up to 85 men and women, services include: individual and group counseling; mental health services; substance abuse education; vocational and employment assistance; self-help and process groups; and a health and wellness program. Clients in our programs receive assessments to create an individualized treatment plan that serves to elevate each client s strengths as well as identify opportunities for skill development. The major treatment principle is the philosophy of mutual self-help. Working with clients to help them gain control of their lives by developing emotional, cognitive, social, behavioral, and educational skills in a highly structured environment is the essence of the approach. At Santa Fe Springs, we offer a specialized residential program that respond to the unique needs of women struggling with drug and alcohol abuse and their related problems. Our program features gender-responsive, traumainformed, family-focused treatment, education and vocational training, skill building, and transitional living. Outreach and aftercare for maintaining recovery are a part of our continuum of care that includes: Residential treatment for substance abuse and mental health disorders for single women and women with children, in a comfortable facility with a large playground and garden Additional services, including education, childcare, parenting classes, employment readiness, and referrals for specialized services Outreach and advocacy in the community Aftercare support to ensure continuing recovery in the community Our residential program in Santa Fe Springs is designed to help women prepare for self-sufficient, drug-free lives. 5 Recovery Maintenance Services individual responsibility, Orange County Phone Program Coordinator Teresa Yuch ext.4820 Recovery Coach Daniel Espinoza ext Recovery Maintenance Services include practical, social and emotional support, peer mentoring and leadership opportunities, vocational advancement activities, sober recreation, and assessment and referrals to communitybased providers. The services are free to Orange County residents and take place on PHOC campus on weekdays from 12 noon to 8 pm and on Saturday mornings from 10 am to 2 pm. We welcome all community members and offer: Recovery Coaching Recovery Coaches (staff) help participants identify personal recovery needs, strengths, and obstacles; develop a recovery roadmap; and provide ongoing support. Recovery Mentoring Recovery Mentors (peers in recovery) volunteer to be guides for others and offer one-on-one emotional support and problem-solving. Peer Support Groups co-facilitated by peer leaders, these groups include: a group for families; women s group; men s group; young adult group; veterans group; LGBT group; and on-site 12-Step meetings. Recovery Telephone Check-in participants may register to receive telephone check-ins from peers, including text-based conversations, weekly or monthly. Recovery Warmline ( ) free for all clients; staffed by peer volunteers trained in dealing with emotional distress and problem-solving. Social Events, Outings, Recreation include holiday parties and celebrations; field trips to local attractions and sporting events; monthly sober dances; art classes, chess/dominoes tournaments, yoga/meditation, exercise, book club, etc. Education Sessions and Workshops staff and guest speakers discuss resume building, job search assistance, housing assistance, budgeting, health education and referrals, relapse prevention, stress and anger management, spirituality and recovery, cooking and nutrition, physical fitness, and more. Peer Leadership Training opportunities for volunteers to foster their leadership skills and deepen their own recovery. Referrals to Additional Services
