Brescia Province The province of Brescia is widely known as a highly industrialised area, a premise confirmed by 2011 sector statistics which reveal a surplus value figure of 34.8%. Brescia ranks fifth in Lombardy for GDP per capita ( 30,308), an increase of 3.6% between 2009 and 2010. It is thus well above the Italian average. The ongoing growth in the service sector has reached a level of 63.1% last year. Banking services are highly reliable and efficient. OFFICE real estate market Brescia province With 969 bank branches and 9 Credit Guarantee Fund Trusts, Brescia has an extensive network of credit services. Companies can turn to technological innovation centres such as CSMT and AQM for technology transfer and Pro Brixia (part of the Brescia Chamber of Commerce) for internationalisation. The province of Brescia is home to two quality universities (Università degli Studi di Brescia and Università Cattolica di Brescia) which have all the main faculties. Companies from the area have managed to establish themselves on the most prominent international markets by manufacturing first-class products and have set the standard for SME development, according to leading foreign economic experts.
