Everyday Math Online Games (Grades 1 to 3) FOR ALL GAMES At any time, click the Hint button to find out what to do next. Click the Skip Directions button to skip the directions and begin playing the game. Click the Exit button to leave the game. If you don't play the game for a while, the game will quit automatically. Angle Race Try to beat the computer in a race to form angles that add up to 360 degrees. You and the computer will take turns drawing cards and adding angles to the circle. The marker starts at 0 degrees. When a card is turned over, look at the number it shows. Then click on a button to make an angle that has the degree measure shown on the card. The computer will then take its turn. After the computer's turn, click on a card to start your next turn. Add on an angle with the new degree measure. If the card you draw adds an angle that goes past 360 degrees, click the 'pass' button to skip your turn. The first player to complete an angle at exactly 360 degrees wins the round. Each round is counted off on the round counter. The winner of the game is the one who wins the most rounds out of five. Baseball Multiplication with 2 Dice Try to beat the computer by getting the most points at the end of three innings. Click the dice to toss the first pitch. Multiply the 2 numbers on the dice and enter your answer using the keypad. Click the Clear button if you make a mistake. Click OK to enter your Your batter will score a hit or get an out, based on the hitting chart. Click the dice to get the next pitch. The scoreboard tracks the number of strikes, outs, and runs for each player. When you get 3 outs, the computer will take a turn. Play will continue for 3 innings. The player with the most runs at the end of the game is the winner. Basketball Addition Play a game of basketball addition with the computer. Try to win by getting the most points at the end of 4 quarters. Click the dice to take your first shot. Find the sum of the numbers on the 3 dice and enter it using the keypad. If you wait for the last group of coins, those will be your coins for that round. After you select your coins, use the keypad to enter the total value of your coins and the computer's. Exchange Games $1, $10, $100 Exchange Try to collect a $100 dollar bill from the bank by collecting and exchanging $1 and $10 bills. Click the dice to roll them. Find the total number of dots. Then click the $1 button the same number of times to collect your dollars. You can also click on the $10 button, or a combination of both buttons, to collect the number of dollars shown on the dice. When you're finished collecting your money, click OK. When you have ten $1 bills, or ten $10 bills, drag them to the Exchange area. Then, click the Exchange button to exchange them for a $10 bill or a $100 dollar bill. Keep rolling the dice until you can collect and trade enough money to get a $100 bill.

Keep rolling the dice until you can collect and trade enough blocks to get a flat. Coin Exchange 2 Collect and exchange coins until all the quarters have been taken from the bank. Try to beat the computer by collecting the most money. Click the dice to roll them. Click the coins you need to collect the number of cents shown on the dice. You can click one or more different kinds of coins to collect the amount you need. When you're finished collecting your coins, click OK. Then, click the dice to roll them for the computer. Here's how you make an exchange: o When you have 5 pennies, click each one to move them to the Exchange area. Then, click the Exchange button to exchange the pennies for a nickel. o To collect a dime, exchange 2 nickels or a nickel and 5 pennies. o To collect a quarter, exchange any combination of coins that equal 25?. Money Exchange Game - $1, $10, $100 Collect and exchange $1 and $10 bills until you get a $100 bill. Click the $1 button the number of times shown on the die to collect your bills. Money Exchange Game - $10, $100, $1000 Collect and exchange $10 and $100 dollar bills until you get a $1000 bill. Click the $10 button the number of times shown on the die to collect your bills. Click the OK button when you are finished collecting your bills. When you have ten $10 bills, or ten $100 bills, drag them to the Exchange area. Then, click the Exchange button to exchange them for a higher bill. Keep playing until you collect and trade enough money to get a $1000 bill.

One-Dollar Exchange Game Try to collect a $1 bill from the bank by collecting and exchanging coins. Click the dice to roll them. Find the total number of dots. Then click the penny button the same number of times to collect your coins. You can also click on the dime button, or a combination of both buttons, to collect the number of cents shown on the dice. When you're finished collecting your coins, click OK. When you have 10 pennies, or 10 dimes, drag them to the Exchange area. Then, click the Exchange button to exchange them for a dime or a $1 bill. Keep rolling the dice until you can collect and trade enough coins to get a $1 bill. Penny-Nickel-Dime Exchange Try to collect the most dimes from the bank by collecting and exchanging coins. Click the stack of pennies the number of times shown on the die to collect your coins. When you're finished collecting coins, click OK. Then, click the die to roll it for the computer. When you have 5 pennies, click each one to move them to the Exchange area. Then, click the Exchange button to exchange the pennies for a nickel. To collect a dime, exchange 2 nickels or a nickel and 5 pennies. Keep playing until all the dimes have been taken from the bank. The player with the most dimes wins the game. Factor Bingo Find factors of numbers to get Bingo in the least number of turns. Make your Bingo board by clicking on each square and entering a number from 2 through 90 using the keypad. Click the Clear button if you want to change your number. Click OK to enter your number. Fill your board with numbers that have the numbers 2 through 9 as factors. If you don't, you may not be able to win the game. After your Bingo board is filled with numbers, click the card deck to turn over the first card. Look at the number on the card, and find all of the numbers on your board that have that number as a factor. Then click each of these numbers to place a counter over it. When you are done, click the card deck to get the next card. When you get 5 counters in a line, or 12 counters anywhere on the board, you get Bingo. Click the Bingo button to stop the game. Your score shows the number of turns you've taken. Try to get Bingo as quickly as possible to get the lowest score. Multiplication Bingo Multiply numbers to get Bingo in the least number of turns. Click the "new board" button to pick a Bingo board. Next, click the card deck to deal the first 2 cards. Multiply the 2 numbers on the cards, and enter your answer using the keypad. When you get 4 counters in a line, or 8 counters anywhere on the board, you get Bingo. Click the Bingo button to stop the game. Look at the chart to see how many cubes or longs you can remove. Drag the blocks to the Remove and Trade area, and click the Remove button. If you need cubes, drag a long to the Remove and Trade area, and click the Trade button to trade it for 10 cubes. You get 1 point each time you remove the correct number of blocks, and 1 point each time you make a correct trade. Keep playing until you have removed all of your longs from the mat.

Tens-and-Ones Trading Game (Trade Up) Collect and trade your blocks until you can get 10 longs. Look at the chart to see how many cubes or longs you can collect. Click the cube or long button that number of times to collect your blocks. Click OK when you are finished. When you have 10 cubes, drag them to the Trade area. Click the Trade button to trade them for a long. You get 1 point each time you collect the correct number of blocks, and 1 point each time you make a correct trade. The computer will take its turn by placing the next card on its place-value mat. Continue taking turns filling in the other boxes, trying to make the largest decimal number you can. Click the arrow button that points to the larger number. The player with the larger number gets 1 point. The player with the smaller number gets 2 points. You have 5 rounds to try to get the lower score. Two-Fisted Penny Addition Try to earn points by guessing the number of pennies hidden behind a door. The computer will show some pennies. Count the pennies you see and enter the total using the keypad. Click the Clear button if you make a mistake. Click OK to enter your Your answer will be displayed in the diagram as the Total.
