SELECTED SPECIAL EVENTS PROJECTS Alexander Memorial Coliseum Renovation, Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, Georgia, U.S.A. Programming, architectural and interior design services for a two phase renovation of the Alexander Memorial Coliseum. Phase I of this re development included the expansion and renovation of the existing 7,000 seat facility to add,000 upper level seats, 554 floor level box seats, a new concourse, concession areas and locker rooms with press conference facilities. Phase II marked the "re creation" of the facility, which involved further expansion and upgrading of concourse and concession facilities; lowering the playing area to improve sight lines; adding 4 "sky boxes" and several meeting rooms suitable for multi use activities. Bobby Dodd Stadium / Grant Field, Atlanta, Georgia, U.S.A. Master Planning, full architectural and interior design services for improvements to stadium and field areas. (JV project with Heery Architects & Engineers, Inc.) Buckhead Church, Atlanta, Georgia, U.S.A. Architectural interior and Graphic design services for a 4 story, 190,000 SF North Point Ministries satellite campus facility located in the Tower Place mixed use development. The contemporary Christian church building includes state of the art worship spaces and a 3,000 seat main auditorium supplemented by two smaller theaters for student worship services and programs. The building also features a production studio, bookstore, administrative offices, and classroom space. Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre, Cobb County, Georgia, U.S.A. Programming, architectural, interior and landscape architectural design for the first major performing arts facility built in metro Atlanta in four decades. This innovative state of the art facility is noted for its striking curved roof structure and glass front entrance and provides guests with an intimate and elegant space for a wide range of performances. The Centre houses the,750 seat John A. Williams Theatre, a 10,000 SF ballroom, and a structured parking deck accommodating 1000 cars.
SELECTED SPECIAL EVENTS PROJECTS Cobb Galleria Convention Centre, Atlanta, Georgia, U.S.A. Complete architectural/engineering services and interior design for a 7,870 SM convention facility as an addition to an existing story, 5,550 SM shopping mall earlier designed by SRSS. Part of a US$00 million 34.4 hectare mixed use development master planned by SRSS for 3,56 SM of office space,,787 SM of retail space and a 400 room luxury hotel. Donna and Marvin Schwartz Center for Performing Arts, Atlanta, Georgia, U.S.A. Architectural and interior design services for a 93,000 SF building, located at the corner of Clifton and North Decatur roads. The project includes an 80 seat concert hall and a 150 seat recital/performance hall. Both have state of the art amenities and back of house functions including staging, storage, ticketing and lobby areas and an orchestra pit. The building also includes related education, administrative and rehearsal space for the Music, Theater and Dance Departments, as well as individual performance spaces for dance and theater. Evans Memorial Stadium, Rockdale County, Georgia, U.S.A. Architectural design services for a 5,000 seat stadium incorporating the existing football field at Heritage High School and a new softball field on the east side of the stadium. Seats are distributed with 3,500 on the home side and 1,500 on the visitor's side. Each side has ticket sales booths, public toilets, and concessions. The press box is located above the concessions on the home side, locker rooms for both the home and visitor teams and additional parking. The pedestrian plaza, ticket sales booths, public toilets and concessions on the home side also serve the softball field. The softball field includes fencing, dugouts, and a scorekeeper's platform. First Redeemer Church, Forsyth County, Georgia, U.S.A. Master planning, architectural and interior design services for a story Student and Family Center addition located within a 53,500 SF facility which includes a full size gymnasium with basketball courts, office space, Youth Fellowship space, a Coffee Lodge with outdoor patio dining, an 8,800 SF banquet/lecture hall, a full service kitchen, 1 new classrooms, a fitness center as well as an abundance of outdoor amenities including tennis courts, volleyball courts, and a jogging trail. The center unites family, youth and community outreach ministries under a single roof, allowing maximum flexibility in the use of the varied function spaces.

Master planning, architectural, interior, landscape architectural design and art selection services for a 400,000 SF convention center located near Hartsfield Jackson International Airport in southwest metro Atlanta. The initial phase of this new state of the art facility offers 150,000 SF of flat floor exhibition space, 14,000 SF of meeting and board rooms, and a 40,000 SF ballroom the largest in the state of Georgia. The second phase is an expansion to the west which doubles the exhibition space capacity for a combined total of 300,000 SF of flat floor exhibition space within a single volume. The floor plan features flexible space layouts and ample public areas. McEachern High School Performing Arts Center, Powder Springs, Georgia, U.S.A. Architectural, interior and landscape architectural design services for a 86 seat, 35,35 SF Performing Arts Center at McEachern High School in Cobb County, Georgia. The facility is among the largest performing arts centers in the metro Atlanta area. Because of its size and comprehensive theatrical design, it serves as a magnet location for the local community and draws family, friends, students and faculty to live theatrical and musical performances. Olympic Aquatic Center, Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, Georgia, U.S.A. Architectural and interior design services for a 15,000 seat natatorium integrated with the existing Student Athletic Complex (SAC) at the Georgia Institute of Technology for the 1996 Summer Olympic Games in Atlanta. The facility included competition swimming and diving facilities, locker rooms,,000 permanent seats and 13,000 temporary seats plus a temporary water polo pool with 4,000 seats. The sweeping, clear span roof design above the pool created an "open air" facility while protecting those underneath. The curved steel "wave" roof is countered by an inverted steel bowstring truss intended to cover temporary Olympic event seating. A landscaped plaza and food court provide an attractive venue that helped with pedestrian circulation without compromising security. The Homer Rice Center for Sports Performance, Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, Georgia, U.S.A. Architectural and interior design services for a 3 story, 44,000 SF building serving as a center for sports performance research and houses areas for physiological research, physical therapy, hydro therapy, motion analysis, orthopedic medicine, vision testing and sports psychology. The second floor houses a sports gallery / museum and athletic administrative offices. The building section fronting a pedestrian walkway accommodates a commercial restaurant and offices. The design of exterior space around an existing monument created a signature public plaza. The project also provided 90 new parking spaces and a new entry stair at the upper east corner of the stadium.

SELECTED SPECIAL EVENTS PROJECTS Cobb-Galleria Centre Exhibit Hall and Convention Center, Atlanta, Georgia This 360,000-SF facility includes a 108,000-SF Exhibition Hall, which can host events for up to 1,000 persons and can be subdivided into three 36,000-SF halls, (each with its own discrete loading dock); a 5,000-SF Grand Ballroom, which can be divided by partition into a maximum of four,700-sf and two 5,400-SF junior ballrooms; twenty state-of-the-art meeting rooms and four executive boardrooms totaling 40,000-SF a main entry lobby, which features a monumental stair to the main concourse; a 4,000-SF fully equipped commercial kitchen and three large concession stands in the Exhibit Hall.
