Once the authorization text is in place, begin filling out the rest of the information in the form using the Licensee Information and License Number provided in the example. Note: your window MUST contain the same information for the PGP software to properly authorize. When finished, click the Authorize button at the bottom of the window. This is the fully expanded main menu that users will see. In the interest of space, the fully expanded menu has been split into two sections and placed side by side below. Authorization Reports The Authorization screen allows users to download authorization reports. These reports can be sorted in ascending or descending order for easier viewing and identification. CBH Provider EDI Browser, May 2012 Page 21

Decrypting Downloaded Files Download needed files off the CBH EDI Browser and save them on your hard drive. Navigate to this file using Windows Explorer or similar tool and double-click on it. Enter your passphrase assigned by CBH into the window and click OK. If the passphrase matches the one in your decryption key the window will disappear and the decrypted file will appear in the same directory where the encrypted file is located. If the entered passphrase does not match, you will be prompted to enter it again. After successful decrypting, use MS Excel to view file contents of Authorization Reports, Payment Detail Reports or Rejection Reports. Note: 835RA s can be decrypted using the appropriate decryption software per your vendor s recommendation. Viewing Decrypted File Contents Note: While the decrypted file can be viewed with a variety of programs, CBH recommends using Microsoft Excel. The instructions mentioned here apply to Microsoft Excel only. When opening the file in Excel, this is the first screen that appears. Make sure the file type selected is delimited and then press the next button. CBH Provider EDI Browser, May 2012 Page 23
In Step 2, place a checkmark in the other delimiters box, and type in the pipe character. (This is the key directly above the enter key on the keyboard.) Then click finish to see the results. This is an example of what the file will now look like, with your private information in place of the XXX in the picture to the left. WARNING: In the event that the decryption passwords are lost or if the person in charge of these passwords leaves your company, you must contact CBH IMMEDIATELY. CBH will then assign new passwords and render the previous passwords inoperative. Failure to notify CBH immediately means your confidential information is at risk of being accessed by someone else, thus compromising the security of your data. LogFirst Step: Get Qualified Before users may submit claims to CBH, they need to be qualified. This means they need to send in claims to be tested. The system makes sure the files can be read and understood by the system, and checks that the files are HIPAA compliant. Providers that have multiple sites from which they do billing need to send a sampling from each site. Once test claims are submitted and verified as readable and HIPAA compliant, users will see a link for Claims instead of Get qualified at their next login. 1. Click on the Browse button. The Choose File window appears. Then simply select the file to be uploaded. 2. Certify the document by reading the statement provided and checking the box. 3. Upload Multiple Files Don t forget to certify your files! Users may currently upload up to five files at a single time using the Upload Multiple Files page, making sure to certify the files by reading the statement at the bottom of the screen and checking in the appropriate box.
