1 PGP 9.6 for Windows How to Add keys to the All Keys key ring: 1. Run the PGP application from Start->All Programs->PGP. 2. In the PGP main application window, click on Search for keys. 3. In the Search for keys window, select pgpkeys.its.yale.edu from the search dropdown box and click on the search button. 4. You will be presented with a server certificate. 7 How to Decrypt a PGP encrypted a file: 1. In Windows Explorer, locate and right-click on the PGP encrypted file you want to decrypt. 2. Select PGP Desktop and click on Decrypt & Verify <file to be decrypted>. (<file to be decrypted> contains the name of the file you are going to decrypt) 3. You will see the PGP decrypt progress window. Please wait. 4. PGP will save the decrypted file in the same folder containing the encrypted file. 9 How to configure Whole Disk Encryption: Please Note: It is recommended that you read the PGP WDE Best practices section in the PGP user guide before configuring your computer s hard to use Whole Disk Encryption. At the very least, you should back up your disk before you encrypt your entire disk. 1. Run the PGP application from Start->All Programs->PGP. 2.
