FTP Mode Ad Hoc Network Setup Overview FTP Mode allows you to wirelessly transfer images you capture on your EOS DSLR to a WiFi-enabled computer that you have set up as a remote FTP server. The EOS Wireless File Transmitter will function as the FTP client. This setup guide will describe how to create an ad hoc FTP network on a PC running the Professional versions of Microsoft Windows XP. You must first install Internet Information Services (IIS) and FTP Service, which is available on the Professional installation CD. When you switch back to your normal configuration the ad hoc network settings on your PC will disappear and must therefore be set up again for re-use. 2012 Canon U.S.A., Inc. All Rights Reserved.
