Introduction: To give you an overview, what this configuration manual is about, you might first want to know, what benefit the functionality ill gi e ou he ou perfor this o figuratio ithi our OpenScape Office V s ste a d the Microsoft all Busi ess er er ta dard : Exchange Calendar Integration: When users set appointments in their Microsoft Outlook calendar, the OpenScape Office V3 system will automatically check for keywords in the calendar appointment subjects like: Meeti g, i k, Break, Gone Out, Vacation, Lu h, Gone Ho e a d Do Not Disturb. If such a keyword is found, the OpenScape Office V3 will set the users presence status automatically when the appointment time is reached, even if the Microsoft Outlook session of this user is not active anymore. The user just simply configures his appointments with these keywords and OpenScape Office V3 will set his telephone presence status automatically and will forward calls to his voicemail or for example to his cellphone, depending on the set presence status and the from the user desired forwarding target. The user can also configure in a general client setting, if his prese e status should e s it hed a k to Offi e prese e status he the appoi t e t time has ended. Public Folder Contacts search: Many companies use public contact folders in Microsoft Exchange, where contacts are stored, that should be reached from every Microsoft Outlook user connected to this Microsoft Exchange server. With the in this manual described central configuration, the OpenScape Office V3 client applications will be able to search for such public folder contacts in the Microsoft Exchange server too and allow the users to use these public folder contacts then also in the OpenScape Offi e V lie t appli atio s like Portal for Outlook, Portal for Desktop a d the Fa Pri ter when they use the clients search function. Email forwarding: With this configuration option, the OpenScape Office V3 will be able to send emails to the in the Microsoft Small Business Server 2011 Standard included Microsoft Exchange Server 2010. This will enable your users to receive emails for new voicemails, faxes or conference calls with the ability to perform an automatically from OpenScape Office V3 created WebCollaboration session (WebCollaboration is available in OpenScape Office V3R2 only). OpenScape Office V3 will generate emails for such actions and will keep users updated also via email if such new notifications arrive in their OpenScape Office message box. Are you interested now? The following steps describe how to connect an OpenScape Office V3 system to a Microsoft Small Busi ess er er ta dard to use the following OpenScape Office V3 functions: Exchange Calendar Integration Public Folder Contacts search Email forwarding from OpenScape Office V3 to the in the Microsoft Small Business Server 2011 Standard integrated Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 Preconditions: Microsoft Small Business Server 2011 Standard Microsoft Outlook Web Access (OWA) in use Microsoft Exchange Public Folder Contacts in use Users with mail-addresses assigned in use The OpenScape Office system is running in version V3 Notes: The test was done with Microsoft Small Business Server 2011 Standard. All available Microsoft Updates and Service Packs installed. In this example the Microsoft Small Business Server 2011 Standard has the following IPaddress: 192.168.178.150. Please change this value to match usto er s environment. The OpenScape Office V3 system ip-address in this example is.... The domain name of the Microsoft Small Business Server 2011 Standard in this example is set to: domain.net. Please ha ge this alue to at h usto er s e iro e t setti gs. In this test 2 additional Microsoft Windows XP with Microsoft Outlook 2010 computers were used as test user accounts. You will find these as TestUser1 and TestUser2. The user OSOV3 is used in this example as Service Account with the role privilege for ApplicationImpersonation which is used to give the OpenScape Office V3 access to the mailbox database of the Microsoft Exchange Server 2010. This user has to be added to your Active Directory. It requires also a configured mail-address. The Microsoft Small Business Server 2011 Essentials version will not be able to use with the OpenScape Office V3, because this server version has no Microsoft Exchange Server 2010. The integration test was successfully done with OpenScape Office V3R1 and V3R2. The here in this manual shown screenshots are taken from an OpenScape Office V3R2. Seite 3 von 20

Note: It might take a couple of minutes until Exchange configuration modifications are active for the configured user OSOV3. Apply the following changes in the OpenScape Office to connect it to the Microsoft Small Business Server 2011 Standard server: Login into the OpenScape Office V3 Assistant and please navigate to: Expert Mode Application Suite UC Suite Server Exchange Assign the Exchange Server configuration as shown in the example below according to usto er s e iro e t setti gs: Server URL: User name: Password: https://192.168.178.150/ews/exchange.asmx osov3 OSOV3 user password Syntax description: Server URL: User name: Password: https://<ms_sbs2011_ip>/ews/exchange.asmx Privileged user set in Active Directory Privileged user password set in Active Directory These changes will enable access of the OpenScape Office V3 to the Microsoft Exchange Server 2010 within the Microsoft Small Business Server 2011 Standard for the Exchange Calendar Integration and the Microsoft Exchange Public Folder Contacts search. The following configuration will enable the mail-access from OpenScape Office V3 to Microsoft Exchange Server 2010. To perform this action in the OpenScape Office V3 Assistant and please navigate to: Setup UC Suite User Directory Select and edit the user related to the SBS user and add the Email address. Save the setting. A configured valid mail-address is needed for the usage of the Exchange Calendar Integration and also for the optional mail notification when the user receives a message from OpenScape Office. If you have carefully followed all above named steps, the full functionality should be available now. In case you need to do some troubleshooting, here are some hints to check in your environment to get the functionality: Sporadically the Calendar Integration Feature does not get in service automatically after initial configuration. A reset of the OpenScape Office V3 OSO application will force a proper reconnect and might solve this problem. Please navigate in the OpenScape Office V3 Assistant to: Service Center Restart/Reload Restart Application Please wait until the OSO application is started up and perform test again. Most configuration problems in the past were related to authorization with the added ser i e user a ou t O OV. Please check the user authorization to the set url: Open a browser and enter the exact same link and username/password combination: Server URL: User name: Password: https://192.168.178.150/ews/exchange.asmx osov3 OSOV3 user password When the authorization is granted you should be forwarded to a XML page that should look similar like this: If you cannot reach this page, there seems to be account problem in the Active Directory ith the used user O OV.
