Anoka Ramsey- Cambridge Community College Several scholarships ranging from $2,000 to $3,000. Applicant must be attending Cambridge College. Renewable also Deadline is March 13 2. Great Clips- Alice Barton Scholarship $500 scholarships awarded to individuals pursuing a career in cosmetology or barbering. These scholarships can be used at any Minnesota cosmetology or barbering school. Deadline is June 30 4. Alert Student must write an essay about his/her experience with drug or alcohol situation. $500 scholarship available. No Deadline 5. Minnesota Athletes in Sports Medicine Scholarship. A $2,500 scholarship is available for a high school senior who has participated in athletics and who intends to pursue a professional career in sports medicine. Deadline May 1 1
6. Naviance MSCA High School Scholarship Program. Eleven $1,000 scholarships will be awarded to individuals pursuing a post secondary education at a college of their choice. Deadline: March 1 7. Minnesota Clean Air A one page essay is required. Online application. Any graduating senior who attends a post secondary college is eligible. $1,000 and $500 scholarships Deadline April 3 8. Ridgewater College Foundation Scholarship Student must be enrolled at either Hutchinson or Willmar Ridgewater College. A variety of scholarships and amounts are available. Deadline April 15 9. Pine Technical College Scholarships A variety of scholarships ranging from $300 to $1,300. Applicant must be attending Pine Technical College. Deadline is May 1 10. St. Cloud Technical College Scholarships A variety of scholarships ranging from $300 to $1,300. Applicant must be attending St. Cloud Technical College. Online application Deadline is March 6 11. SFM Foundation Scholarship These scholarships are awarded to students whose parent has been injured or killed in a work -related accident with a Minnesota or Wisconsin based employer. Awards range from $1,000 - $5,000. Deadline is March 31 12. James Wychor Scholarship offered to students who are entering any form of the broadcasting or electronic media. $1500. Deadline June 30th 2

Women in Science A $250 scholarship will be awarded to a senior girl planning to attend a college or technical school to pursue a career in science related field. Must be in the upper one third of her class. Deadline is May 1 14. St. Paul s Lutheran Church-Student must be a member of the church. Selection based on citizenship, attitude, desire, and effort and financial need. Grades are important but not top priority. St. Paul s Lutheran Church of Ogilvie will select recipient. Applications can be picked up at the church. 15. Engineered Polymers (EPC) Applicant or one of their parents must be an EPC employee. 16. Spire Credit Union - Student must be a member of the credit union. Must attend a 2 year, 4 year or vocational college. $500 scholarships will be given. Deadline is April 15 17. East Central Pork Producers Scholarship- Student must plan to continue their education at a 2 or 4 year college or university. Student must earn at least a 2.0 average during their first semester of post-secondary training before they will receive the scholarship money. Deadline is March 27 18. Knife River Ramblers 4-H Scholarship - Awarded to student attending a 2 or 4 year college or vocational school. Applicant must be a current 4-H member with 4 years of experience. Deadline April 10 19. Mystic Riders Snowmobile Club Scholarship- Student must plan to enroll in a 2 year or less program at a vocational school or college (public or private) Deadline is April 15 3
20. FirstLight Hospital Auxiliary - Student must plan to enter a medical field and attend a 4-year college. The recipient must rank in the top 1/3 of their class. Deadline is March 18 21. FirstLight Scholarship - Student must plan to enter a medical field and attend a 2-4 year college. The recipient must rank in the top 1/3 of their class. Deadline is April 1 22. Milbradt Memorial Theater Arts Scholarship- Selection is based on quality of written essay. Essay should be one page and needs to address the student s value of theater and what they gained from their theater experience during high school. ($400) Applications will be given to counselor. Deadline March 19 25. George Friedrich Foundation Scholarship- Each high school from district 5M-8 can submit one applicant to be considered for this scholarship. The criteria are: community service/activities, upper 50% of class, plan to attend college or technical school, involvement in extra curricular activities, completion of an essay and application form. Deadline March 11 26. Gladys L. Johnson - Awarding $500 - $1000 scholarships. Must attend a MN, WI, MI, IA, ND, or SD school and be of protestant faith. Eligibility is based on financial need, academic and vocational achievement, and service to the school and community. Student must plan to attend a vocational institute or a college (public or private) Deadline April 1 27. Order of the Eastern Star Scholarship- Student must have a minimum of a C average in high school and maintain a C average in post-high school coursework.$500.00 Deadline April 15 5

Ogilvie American Legion Auxiliary selection based on financial need, citizenship and high school performance. ($250) 31. South Fork Eagles Scholarship- Priority will be given to students who have worked in youth services and/or community volunteer work. 33. Neighborhood National Bank Scholarship Priority may be given to students pursuing a 4-year degree in business or a related field. Grades and extra-curricular involvement are important but will not be the top priority. ($500) 34. Minnesota Deer Hunters and Pheasants Forever - This scholarship is awarded to a senior planning a 2 or 4 year degree in a natural resources related field and is in the top ½ of their graduating class. Must have a 2.0 G.P.A at the end of the first term of college to receive the award. $1,500 will be awarded annually between Mora High School and Ogilvie High School. OMIT PARENT'S financial section from LOCAL application. 35. Ogilvie Firefly s Scholarship- Any OHS senior planning to attend a vocational or four year college may apply. Priority will be given to a child of an Ogilvie Fire Department member or to a student interested in pursuing a community based education. 36. Mora Town and Country Garden Club Scholarship. Student must be attending a college and pursuing an education in a horticulture or landscaping field of study. It may be a 1, 2, or 4 year accredited program of study. Student must have a 2.0 G.P.A. Scholarship value is $250. 37. Kanabec County Art Association. $300 scholarship. Student must have interest and talent in the arts (visual, music, dance, drama and literary arts) and be intending to pursue a study of those artistic talents in coursework in college. Student should be prepared to demonstrate artistic talent through sample works (5 or more) and teacher reference letters. Sample work should include actual works and photos in the case of visual arts and video, audio or actual samples in the case of music, dance, drama, or literary arts. THIS DEADLINE IS APRIL 25 7

Ogilvie Education Association Scholarship- Selection is based on leadership, class rank, and extra curricular activities. Some priority is given to applicant s planning to major in education. (2 @ $300) 39. Ann Lake Watershed Alliance Scholarship - Requires students to be entering a 2 or 4 year Environmental Science, Earth Science, etc. program. 3.0 GPA ($300) 40. Federated Co-op Scholarship- Applicant must be in the top one third of their class and plan to attend a 2 or 4 year college. ($200.00) 41. East Central Energy Scholarship- Recipient or their parents must be a member of ECE. Recipient must plan to attend a vocational or 4 year college. Citizen s Scholarship Foundation of Ogilvie Available for one year. $1000. Selection is based on scholarship, citizenship, leadership, community involvement and written essay. Multiple scholarships are given each year. (3 offered in 2015) 3. Nels A. Lee Scholarship Available for one year for $300. Selection is based on academics, leadership, community and school involvement, and written essay. 4. Ed & Alice Nelson Scholarship Available for one year for $300. Selection is based on academics, leadership, community and school involvement, and written essay. 5. Russell Bergren Memorial/Peoples National Bank of Mora Scholarship The amount for this scholarship is $500. (4 will be offered in 2015) 6. Eldore Miller Memorial Scholarship Available for one year for $500. This scholarship is for students planning on attending a trade or technical school. Preferably someone not in the top 10% of the class. 7. Ogilvie Dollars For Scholars Renewable Renewable for four years @ $1500 per year. ***Only offered in years Ahlgren scholarships not offered, so will be available this year. 8. Ogilvie Shipping Association Scholarship Available for one year for $500. This scholarship is for students planning to pursue a degree in agriculture or a related field of study. (available until donated funds run out) 9. CSF of Ogilvie Dollars for Scholars new for 2015 Renewable for up to four years at $1000 per year. Selection is based on academics, leadership, community and school involvement, and written essay. In any given year other scholarships may become available if money is donated by outside sources. In addition, fundraisers are sometimes held to fund specific scholarships such as Nickels for Knowledge, etc. When this is the case, all current, college-bound seniors are eligible for these scholarships unless specific requirements need to be met. 11
