Zelda Chatten, the Electrical Engineering & Electronics Subject Librarian, will give an introduction to library facilities for Electrical Engineering & Electronics. A Study Abroad Ambassador will give a brief presentation about what Study Abroad is and inform about the upcoming events relating to this. A representative from the Guild and Dr John Marsland will give an introduction to the student representation system and the departmental Staff Student Liaison Committee. There will also be an introduction to the departmental student society, ESHOCK, and an opportunity to become a member. The Year in Industry Co-ordinator, Dr Andrew Dowsey will give a short talk about the benefits of completing a year in industry. This talk is aimed at all Year 1 XJTLU), even those not registered on a programme with a year in industry.
