Prject Abstract: The University f Dublin The aims f InnHF prject are t ffer a multidisciplinary training in the field f risk assessment and maintenance management integrated with human factrs, in tight cntact with cmpanies and universities within this cnsrtium; t strengthen and structure initial training f researchers in system engineering at Eurpean level; t attract students t scientific careers; t prvide trained researchers with the necessary skills t wrk in industry; and t imprve career perspectives by brad skills develpment. The INNHF scientific main bjective is thus t frmalize an apprach and make it pssible t integrate the current and develping assessment methds recmmended r required by recgnized industrial standards and methdlgies, with an easy t use but cmplete human factrs and system health management apprach, the fllwing gals will be achieved: 1) Review f the applicability f mst recent generatin standards that are nt yet fully acquired by different industries and verificatin f their effectiveness in safety assessment. 2) Devising a methd t accunt qualitatively and quantitatively fr the human factr in the wider applied risk assessment methdlgies. Verifying hw a prper accunt f the impact f human and rganizatinal factrs (H&OF) in the peratinal phase may prvide a sensitive change in the results f the assessments. 3) Reviewing the methds t accunt qualitatively and quantitatively fr maintenance effectiveness, taking als int accunt HOFs, verifying hw a prper accunt f the maintenance strategy may prvide a sensitive change in the results f the assessments. 4) T translate the results f the analysis perfrmed thrugh the nvel apprach in a factual design imprvement initiative fr new r existing plant r machinery able t prvide leverage fr cmpetitive advantage (maximum availability, minimum unscheduled shutdwns f prductin, ecnmic maintenance, minimum incident and accident). Open Psitins: Three psitins: Tw 36- mnth Early Stage Researcher (ESR) and ne 24- mnth Experienced Researcher (ER) (24 Mnths) psitins within the Marie Curie Initial Training Netwrk the Aerspace Psychlgy Research Grup (APRG) in. The University f Dublin The Aerspace Psychlgy Research Grup The Aerspace Psychlgy Research Grup (APRG) fcusses n understanding and impacting the human and rganisatinal factrs which underlie safety, efficiency and reliability in labratin between academic researchers and aviatin practitiners in rder t fster and further research and gd practice in relatin t the human aspects f the aviatin system. It has since bradened its scpe t a range f ther high- reliability industries and t brader themes related t the human aspects f industrial systems. Eligibility Criteria: The University f Dublin T be eligible, each researcher must fulfill the fllwing criteria at the time f appintment: Natinality The researcher may be a natinal f a Member State f the Cmmunity, f an Assciated Cuntry r f any ther third cuntry. b) Mbility At the time f selectin by the hst rganizatin, the researcher may nt have resided r carried ut his/her main activity in the cuntry f the beneficiary fr mre than 12 mnths in the 3 years immediately prir t his/her appintment. Shrt stays such as hlidays are nt taken int accunt. As far as internatinal Eurpean interest rganizatins r internatinal rganizatins are cncerned, this rule des nt apply t the hsting f eligible researchers, hwever the appinted researcher must nt have spent mre than 12 mnths in the 3 years immediately prir t the selectin by the hst rganizatin in the same appinting rganizatin. c) Qualificatins and research experience Early stage researchers (ESR) means researchers wh, at the time f selectin by the hst rganizatin, have nt yet been awarded the dctrate degree and are in the first 4 years (full- time equivalent) f their research careers. This includes the perid f research training, starting at the date f btaining the degree which wuld frmally entitle them t embark n a dctrate either in the cuntry in which the degree was btained r in the cuntry in which the initial training activities are prvided, irrespective whether r nt a dctrate is envisaged. Experienced Researchers (ER) means researchers wh, at the time f selectin by the hst rganizatin, have a PhD r at least fur years f research experience AND a ttal research experience f less than r equal t five years. Candidate Prfile: The candidate must be fluent in spken and written English. The R&D is highly multidisciplinary. An ideal candidate has a PhD. in Engineering, Psychlgy,Statistical Sciences r a related discipline with an adequate cmputatinal and research backgrund. Experience in field f human factrs, industrial safety, risk assessment & risk management is an advantage. Knwledge f prgramming languages and/r knwledge f Matlab are an advantage Bth female and male candidates are invited t apply. Salary Infrmatins: The salary fr ER will be fully in line with the EC rules fr Marie Curie grant hlders http://crdis.eurpa.eu/fp7 The salary has tw cmpnents, a living allwance and a mbility allwance. Salary crrectin cefficient fr Ireland applies.
