8 RCC Highlights An RCC is required if cntractrs need t prvide the SWL cmpetence n a wrksite, and they dn t currently hld a PCL, nr are eligible t hld a PCL RCCs will primarily seek t cnfirm that Safety management prcesses & planning are adequate fr the type and level f wrk being undertaken Tw types f RCC, if bth service types are prvided, then bth applicatin prcesses will need t be fllwed: Training Services (Annual) Nn Training Services (On a By Cntract basis) RCCs dn t have a separate mdule in RISQS / Achilles T cnfirm yur requirement fr an RCC, we have requested that yu cmplete the relevant RCC Questinnaire

N additinal audit csts, ther than thse assciated with btaining RIPS. RCCs, where applicable, will be assessed n a cntract by cntract basis. Nn-RCC hlders shall nt be excluded frm the tender prcesses, s tendering can cmmence at any stage f the RCC applicatin prcess. All minimum entry requirements MUST be in place befre yu can cmmence wrk as an RCC hlder prviding the SWL cmpetence.

If the applicatin is being prgressed, Suppliers shuld cmmence the applicatin prcess and ensure the minimum entry requirements are met in advance f the g-live date. RCC applicatin prcess will be managed by the PDSW Team fr the first 12 mnths fllwing the SWL cmpetence g-live date. Thereafter a review will be undertaken and a decisin made as t where within Netwrk Rail this shuld be managed..
