SC State Athletics and the Department of Military Science in collaboration with the Office of Admissions, Recruitment and Scholarships would like to extend an invitation for you to come and join us for a fun filled day of activities planned for your enjoyment and academic enrichment. SC State University Athletics has extended a special welcome for all youth to share the Bulldog Experience by offering a discounted game ticket for $10.00 to youth 17 and under and to youth groups (civic, community, fraternal organizations, churches, etc.) to attend the SC State University Bulldogs vs. Howard University Bison football game. Our half time show features the renowned Marching 101 Band and a JROTC Rifle Drill Exhibition. Youth and ROTC Day is a special day designed to encourage elementary, middle and high school students to visit our campus and experience all that the University has to offer while enjoying a fantastic football game. The stage is set for an outstanding opportunity to showcase the university academic offerings, the ROTC Program and a glimpse of student life. You will witness the show-stopping, precision structured, musically divined Marching 101 Drum line and the three-time MEAC Champion Cheerleading Squad. As an added attraction, SC State University is offering a pre-game concert. To participate, please complete the enclosed registration form and return it to: SC State Ticket Office, Post Office Box 7511, Orangeburg, SC 29117, by fax to 1-803-533-3631 or by email to ticketoffice@scsu.edu. IMPORTANT INFORMATION Purchase your VIP tickets and register your group by Friday, October 2, 2015. Any group tickets purchased after Friday, October 2, 2015 will not be mailed, and will be available for pick up at the SC State Ticket Office until 6:00 p.m. Friday, October 16, 2015. Groups will receive game credentials and bus access passes by mail (Please indicate on your registration form the number of bused and/or vans that will be used to transport your group). VIP buses and/or vans will be allowed to enter the Game Zone via Gate 1 (Buckley and Russell Streets). See the Game Zone Map enclosed for clarity. Absolutely NO CARS allowed at this entrance. VIP Guests will be dropped off in front of Oliver C. Dawson Stadium. ROTC Day participants will enter campus via Gate 1 (Buckley/Russell Streets). JROTC Cadets will unload in front Oliver C. Dawson Stadium and will march to the Smith-Hammond-Middleton Memorial Center. After unloading, buses and vans will be directed to park in the bus parking lot at Russell and Baldwin Streets. As a reminder, ALL events, with the exception of ROTC activities, will be in the Oliver C. Dawson Stadium and on the football practice field in the Game Zone. Advance ticket purchases are very important as groups come to campus for this year s activities. Take full advantage of our VIP Service, pay early, receive your credentials early, and enjoy priority drop-off in front of Oliver C. Dawson Stadium. Ticket prices are $10.00 for youth 17 and under and you may purchase one Chaperone ticket at $10.00 for every 10 youth tickets purchased. General admission tickets are $25.00. Group tickets must be purchased using the order form provided. For additional information regarding tickets, please contact the SC State Ticket Office at 803-536-8579 or toll free at 800-298-9157. Lunches can be purchased from Popeyes or Chick-fil-A. To order, complete the Order Forms provided in this booklet. ALL ORDERS must be placed by Monday, October 5, 2015 for Chickfil-A and Monday, October 12, 2015 for Popeyes. Delivery is scheduled for 12:15 p.m. Groups may pick up box lunches at the north end of the stadium, across the street from the Ticket Office between Gate 3 and Gate 4. Tailgate spots are available at $50.00 per spot. Tailgate spots are located on Mason Field. Please reserve your spot using the registration form included in your booklet. Tailgate spots must be purchased in advance of game day. (Buses are NOT permitted in the tailgate area.) Free bus and van parking with proper Youth/ROTC/Military Appreciation Day credentials is available at the lot at Russell & Baldwin Streets. Patrons are encouraged to purchase tickets early!
