1 Dear Waukesha Catholic Families, It s time for the Eighth Annual Walk-A-Thon! This fun event helps build school spirit, promote health and fitness among our students, and raise funds for school-related activities. The Walk-A-Thon will be held on Friday, May 29, 2015 from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. The school community will process out of St. Mary s Church after the all system Mass onto the CMH (Catholic Memorial) track. We are also pleased to announce that Scott Campbell of will again co-sponsor the Walk-A-Thon with the Waukesha Catholic Home and School. Last year s walk was a huge success raising over $10,000 and providing money toward the Waukesha Catholic Technology Fund. This year the funds raised from the Walk-A-Thon will be going toward Teacher Created Campus Wish lists. Look for updates in the following weeks Campus Connections for more specific details. Other Home and School activities to benefit from the Walk-A-Thon funds include: bus transportation for all system Masses, class retreats, Grandparents Day, Catholic Schools Week and teacher appreciation events just to name a few. Once again, we have set a combined goal for all three Waukesha Catholic Campuses at $7,000 (that averages out to about $10 per student). Again this year we will be offering an online donation possibility!! The link below will get you to the Waukesha Catholic Walk-A-Thon donation page. 2 Donation Form Family Name: Supporting Waukesha Catholic is as easy as one, two, and three. 1.) Use our convenient online donation at 2.) Ask family, friends, and neighbors to sponsor you by making a tax-deductible donation to our school. Use the donation receipts in this packet to assist them with their record keeping. 3 WHO: All Waukesha Catholic students, staff and family are welcome to participate. K3-4 students are invited as well, but must walk with a parent to attend. WHAT: Follow the Grand Marshalls, the Pickar family, as we walk around the track to music! WHERE: The Catholic Memorial High School track. WHEN: Friday, May 29, 2015, 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. after the all system mass. WHY: To promote school spirit and unity among our three campuses while being a visible sign of Waukesha Catholic to the community in addition to raising funds for Campus wish lists and Home and School activities. WIN: Prizes will be awarded at all levels of participation. As an added incentive, if we exceed our goal of $7,000 the principal and associate principals will be participating in a great surprise!!!

4 Prizes Every student who participates by collecting donations wins: A non-uniform pass Any Class with 100% participation wins: An Ice Cream treat The Homeroom with the largest loose change donation wins: Pizza Lunch and an extra 30 minutes of recess Top three families with the most donations raised wins: A chance to participate in a water balloon toss against some of the faculty at Waukesha Catholic! The top fundraising family wins: A $200 Milwaukee Brewers Gift Certificate to be used on tickets and parking for the 2015 season
