Staff will be on hand to provide information on both the DAAD's scholarship and grant programs as well as the possibilities for degree studies in Germany. In Montréal, the Go Global Expo is on Saturday, September 27th from 11:00 am to 5:00 pm at the Palais des Congrès (159 Rue St-antoine O). Student Information Session in Montrèal Together with our partners at the Goethe Institut Montréal, the DAAD Information Centre will present an information session for Montréal area post-secondary students on Friday, September 26th at 3:00 pm at the Goethe Institut office at 1626 Boulevard Saint-Laurent.

Presentations will be made in English, however, we will happily answer questions posed in French. All are welcome so please join us if you are able! Call for Applications - Science Tour Modelling the Future: Understanding Global Challenges through Computer-Based Modelling and Simulation The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) invites foreign researchers and administrators from universities and research institutes to participate in a tour of cutting-edge research facilities in northern Germany which specialize in the field of modelling future scenarios. The tour will examine issues related to computer-based modelling and simulation from a variety of disciplinary perspectives including maritime sciences, economics, climate change and epidemiology. This tour will run from November 30 through to December 6, 2014 and participants are

The new deadline is January 15, 2015. RISE is a summer internship program for undergraduate students from the United States, Canada and the UK in the fields of biology, chemistry, physics, earth sciences and engineering. RISE offers unique opportunities for Bachelor students to work with research groups at universities and top research institutions across Germany for a period of 2 to 3 months during the summer. Deadline: EMGIP Bundestag Internship Programm The EMGIP Bundestag Internship program offers a two-month placement in the German parliament to students who are fluent in German and possess outstanding academic records, personal integrity and sufficient knowledge of the German legislative process. Applicants must be advanced undergraduates or graduate students working in the disciplines of political science, international relations, law, history, economics or German.
