2. Erasing / Modify Writing 1 2 3 Click on the Erase / Modify Icon using the pen, 1. Erase complete line 2. Erase Segment of line 3. Select area for moving / resizing 4. Use the rear side of the pen to erase 3. Undo / Redo Using the Pen, click on the Undo / Redo icons 1. You can Undo or Redo writing that was done on the current page 2. You can not use these functions on a captured page 3. If you write on a captured page, this function will be available Redo Undo 6

4. Email Whiteboard Click on the email Icon using the pen, To use email feature, SMTP server must be setup in the Admin settings. When selected, the pages will be converted to a PDF file and emailed. Pre-configured email addresses are displayed For other email addresses, select Manual entry, keyboard will be displayed and you can enter the email address. 5. Open Using the Pen, click on the File icon You can open a PDF or PowerPoint file by selecting Open from the File menu. The PDF or PowerPoint file must reside on a network share or USB drive These files can be used as a background image. They can not be edited or saved as a PowerPoint file. If the file was saved as a temporary file, you will need to enter the password that was created when the file was saved. Select location and file to open 7

6. Saving a file Using the Pen, click on the file icon All the pages can be saved together to a USB memory device or in a shared folder. They can also be saved temporarily on the machine. The pages are saved in PDF format. Select location to save your file If you select Temporary, you will be required to create a password. 8

7 Using Finger to highlight screen You can drag your finger across any image on the screen to temporarily highlight a key point. 8. Using Finger to zoom in or move image Touch the screen with your fingers to change the display magnification of a displayed page or to move the display area of an enlarged page. The result of the operation you perform is applied to all the devices sharing the remote whiteboard. When you change the display magnification or move the display area with your fingers, a zoom navigator appears in the top center of the screen. Zoom Move 9

9. Printing Using the Pen, click on the Print icon One or all pages can be printed using a preconfigured Ricoh printer or MFP. Click on the print icon and select if it is color or B&W, paper size, number of prints and one or all pages. Click print and your selection will be printed. 10. Using the IWB as a Monitor Connect your computer to the IWB using the supplied VGA cable. You can select inputs from VGA, DisplayPort, and PC connected with Remote Desktop software Connect VGA Cable here for Monitor usage 10

11. Capturing screen to new page With the page / image on the screen, click on the capture icon and the screen will be captured as a new page. Duplicate Delete page Add Page Capture 12. Adding new page To add a new page, click on Add page icon on the bottom of the page (up to 99 pages can be added. 13. Deleting pages To delete pages, with the page displayed, click on the delete icon to remove the page. 14. Duplicate pages To copy the existing page to a new page, click on the duplicate icon and a copy will be added. 15. Exiting your meeting Use the Pen to select the Exit Icon By closing your meeting, all data will be erased unless it was saved before exiting. If you hold the pen on the exit icon for more than 3 seconds, IWB application turns off, and desktop screen is displayed. Admin, Setting, and Power off functions are available from this screen. 11

Quick Start - Using the D5500 To Remotely Operate Your PC 12

After you install IWB Remote Desktop Software on your computer, you can display your computer screen via a network. You can also perform operations on the computer screen from the display of the machine. 13

1. Install the IWB Remote Desktop Software (First Time User) A) From the PC, use your Web browser to connect to the IWB s IP address and select Download Software. B) Click on download and Run C) After the application is downloaded, it will start the installation process. 14

D) After the application is installed, double click on the icon to launch the application. 2. To connect the PC to the whiteboard, enter the IP address of the whiteboard and the password that is displayed in the information area. You can also set an auto disconnect time. 3. The PC will now be displayed on the IWB, and by choosing the mouse icon on the IWB, the pen will be able to control the PC. 4. To exit the PC Share mode, click on the Close button 15

Quick Start - Collaboration 16

As an option, the D5500 can connect to up to a combination of 4 other D5500 s or Ricoh interactive projectors. Each D5500 in the meeting can have up to 20 devices viewing the meeting through the boards web portal. Please note that all D5500s in the meeting are required to be on the same network. Starting a Remote Meeting From the Host D5500 Host will need to provide IP Address and Password to attendees. 1. Turn on the D5500 and confirm it is connected to the network. 2. Using the Pen select the meeting icon and select Open select options to require password to be used. 3. Confirm meeting 4. Meeting opens 5. Click on the Meeting icon to display attendees and highlighter color. 6. All features available in the Standalone Quick Start are available across the meeting. 6. To end meeting, Click on the Meeting icon and select Close Remote Whiteboard. 18

Joining a Remote Meeting From an additional D5500 1. Turn on the D5500 and confirm it is connected to the network. 2. Using the Pen select the meeting icon and select Join 3. After connecting, you will be prompted on the time it will take to download the existing meeting pages. Select OK. 4. Meeting opens 5. Click on the Meeting icon to display attendees and highlighter color. 6. All features available in the Standalone Quick Start are available across the meeting. 6. To end meeting, Click on the Meeting icon and select Leave Remote Whiteboard. 19

Viewing a meeting from a Web Browser You can connect to a shared meeting as a viewer from any device with a web browser. 1. After the Host starts a meeting, using the devices web browser, navigate to the IP address of the D5500. 2. Select Participate in Remote Whiteboard Enter Password and Click Join 20
