2 Downloading the Software Open the Internet and go to Click on Support > Software Downloads. Click on Choose a version and select the desired version. Click on Download. Answer the questions and then click on Start Download. Follow the instructions to install the software on the computer. Checking for Updates Click on Start > SMART Technologies > SMART Tools > SMART Product Updates OR, on the System Tray, click on SMART Board > Check for Updates and Activation. OR, on the Main Menu bar, click Help>Check for Updates and Activation o To access the Product Key, click on Software Activation o Click on Finish. The computer can be set to automatically check for updates. On the SMART Product Update window, click to select Check for updates automatically every. Click on the up or down arrow to select the desired number of days. Close the SMART Product Update window. 600 Series SMART Board The 600 Series SMART Board has a tray of 4 pens. 2 users can write on the board at the same time with a pen and a finger. Setting up the SMART Board Connect the computer to the SMART Board with a USB cable. Connect one end of the USB cable to the board using the short USB cable behind the lower-right corner of the board. Connect the other end to a USB slot in the computer. Bluetooth Connection The SMART Board can be connected wirelessly to the computer with a Bluetooth connection. Connect the Wireless Bluetooth Connection module to the bottom right corner of the board. Plug the Bluetooth Receiver into the computer. Check the connection to make sure it works. Connecting to the Board The SMART Board is connected when the Ready light on the right side of the frame is a solid green. The SMART Board is not connected when the Ready light is red. The SMART Board is trying to connect when the Ready light is blinking green. Orienting the Board The SMART Board must occasionally be oriented to make the pen motion precise. Press the Keyboard button and the Right Click button at the same time. Use the pen to touch each point as it is displayed. Page 2
3 Right Clicking To right click, press the Right Click button on the Pen Tray and the next touch on the SMART Board is a right click. 800 Series SMART Board The 800 Series SMART Board has a tray of 2 pens and four buttons to select color. 4 users can write on the board at the same time with the SMART Notebook software. The Pen Tray of the 800 Series SMART Board has the Off/On button, the Help button, the pens, the eraser, the Orient button, and the pen color buttons. Turn on the 800 Series SMART Board by pressing the Off/On button. Color buttons on the Pen Tray can be used to change the pen color. Setting up the SMART Board Connect the computer to the SMART Board with a USB cable. Plug one end of the USB cable to the board using the connection on the underside of the Pen Tray. Connect the other end to a USB slot in the computer. Turn on the 800 Series SMART Board by pressing the Off/On button on the Pen Tray. Bluetooth Connection The SMART Board can be connected wirelessly to the computer with a Bluetooth connection. The Wireless Bluetooth Connection module is part of the Pen Tray. Plug the Bluetooth Receiver into the computer. Check the connection to make sure it works. Connecting to the Board The SMART Board is connected when the Ready light next to the Help button is a solid green. The SMART Board is not connected when the Ready light is red. The SMART Board is trying to connect when the Ready light is blinking green. Orienting the Board The SMART Board must occasionally be oriented to make the pen motion precise. Press the Orient button on the tray. Use the pen to touch each point as it is displayed. Note: The 800 Series SMART Board orients on the release point so it is important to not drag the pen to the side after touching the point. Right Clicking On the 800 Series SMART Board, touch the board with one finger and then tap with another finger. OR touch the SMART Board and hold for 3 seconds, OR press the Right Click button on the Pen Tray and the next touch on the SMART Board is a right click. Page 3
4 SMART Board Cleaning Options The SMART Board is a whiteboard, but should not be written on with markers. To clean the board, use a soft cloth with warm water. Glass cleaner can be used but do not use strong chemicals. No ammonia or alcohol based products. o Windex or other alcohol-free, ammonia free glass cleaner. o Spray on a soft cloth and clean the board. Do not spray directly on the board. If a dry-erase marker has been used on the SMART Board, remove the ink as soon as possible. o Cover ink stains with Sandford Expo Whiteboard Cleaner then rub the surface clean with a soft cloth. SMART Board Pens When a pen is lifted from the tray, it becomes active. A finger can also be used to write on the board, and it can be a different color from the pens. o 600 Series: One pen and one finger can be used at the same time o 800 Series: Two pens and two fingers can be used at the same time SMART Board Help Press the Help button (?) on the Pen Tray. Using the On Screen Keyboard SMART Ink The SMART Board has an onscreen keyboard available. Press the Keyboard on the Floating Toolbar to bring up the onscreen keyboard. OR, press the Keyboard button on the Pen Tray. The keyboard has several arrangements, including Classic, Number Pad, Write, Shortcut, Simple, and Simple Caps. To change the keyboard arrangement, click on the down arrow and choose the desired arrangement. Click where the text is to be entered and then click on the keys to enter the text. Touch the X on the onscreen keyboard to remove it from the screen. SMART Ink is a part of SMART Notebook and allows digital ink to be written on program screens such as Microsoft Office on Internet windows. The SMART Board needs to be connected to the computer for SMART Ink to work. The SMART Ink digital ink is an object that floats on top and can be moved, changed, copied, or deleted. The digital ink stays on the program screen even when it is moved, minimized, or restored. Note: When a Microsoft program is opened, a Microsoft Ink button appears rather than the SMART Ink button. Minimizing the Microsoft program reveals the SMART Ink button. Page 4
5 On or Off? To turn on SMART Ink, click on Start > SMART Technologies > SMART Ink A light green edge on the SMART Ink button indicates it is turned on. To turn off SMART Ink, click on the SMART Ink arrow and the click to remove the check mark from Turn on SMART Ink. A light gray edge on the SMART Ink button indicates it is turned off. Moving the SMART Ink Button The SMART Ink button can be dragged to any place on the four sides of the screen. Click on the dotted box of the SMART Ink button and drag it to the desired location. Using SMART Ink Click on the SMART Ink arrow. Choose the desired option. Click on the SMART Ink arrow to close the window. Selection Tool Pen Tool To select an item: o Click on Select. o Click on the program screen. Use the Selection Tool as desired. To write with a pen: o Click on the desired pen color. o Click on the desired thickness. o Note: Choosing Calligraphic Ink smooths the writing of the pen. o Click on the program screen. Write on the screen as desired. Highlighter Tool Eraser Tool To highlight something: o Click on the desired Highlighter color. o Click on the program screen. Highlight on the screen as desired. To erase: o Click on the desired Eraser size. o Click on the program screen. Erase the desired SMART Ink objects. Page 5
6 SMART Ink Pens The SMART Ink button indicates the color of the pen and the object being used to write with. If the computer mouse is being used to write with, a mouse icon with the selected color is displayed next to the SMART Ink button. If a finger is being used to write on the SMART Board, a hand icon with the selected color is displayed next to the SMART Ink button. If a pen is being used to write on the SMART Board, a pen icon with the selected color is displayed next to the SMART Ink button. SMART Ink Objects SMART Ink objects can be moved, changed, copied, or deleted. Select the SMART Ink object by changing to the Select tool and then clicking on the object. To move the object, click on the four-headed arrow and drag the object to the desired location. To copy the object, click on the down arrow and choose Copy. To cut the object, click on the down arrow and choose Cut. To delete the object, click on the down arrow and choose Delete OR click on the Delete button. Clearing the Ink All SMART Ink can be removed from the program screen. Click on the SMART Ink down arrow and choose Clear Ink. SMART Notebook SMART Notebook is the software for connecting the SMART Board with the computer. Launching Notebook Click on Start > SMART Technologies > SMART Notebook 11. OR, on the Floating Toolbar, click on Notebook OR, in the System Tray, click on SMART Board > Notebook. Notebook Help To access help, on the Menu, click on Help > Contents OR press F1, OR, in the System Tray, click on SMART Board > Help. The online SMART Help opens in a browser window. To view the tutorial, click on Help > Tutorial. Page 6
7 Board Connected? The SMART Board must be connected to the computer, either directly by a cable or through a receiver. On the computer, the SMART Board is not connected when the SMART Board icon in the System Tray has an X. Notebook Screen Menu Bar The SMART Notebook screen has three main areas. Menu Bar Provides easy access to the features of Notebook. Toolbar Provides easy, visual access to actions and tools. Side Tabs Provide access to Page Sorter, the Gallery, and other options. The Menu Bar runs across the top of the window displaying choices for File, Edit, View, Insert, Format, Draw, and Help. File has commands such as Open, Save, Import, Export, and Print. Edit has commands such as Undo, Redo, Cut, Copy, Paste, Check Spelling, Clear Page, and Clear Ink from Page. View has commands for opening the tabs and Next Page, Previous Page, Full Screen, and Zoom. Insert has commands for inserting various types of files on the page and Blank Page, Ruler, Protractor, and Compass. Format has commands to format the Font, Paragraph, Background, and Themes. Draw has commands to control drawings and Pens, Crayons, Highlighters, Eraser, and Text. Toolbar The Toolbar contains action buttons and tools. Note: See pages for a more complete description of these tools. Moving the Toolbar The Toolbar can be at the top of the window or at the bottom of the window. To move the Toolbar, click on the Move Toolbar button on the right side of the Toolbar. Page 7
8 Side Bar The Side Bar gives access to many powerful options. The Side Bar can be on the left side or the right side of the window. The Side Bar can be moved to either side of the window by clicking on the double-headed arrows. The Side Bar is expanded by clicking on one of the tabs. The Side Bar is collapsed by clicking on the notebook area. Auto-hide is a feature to automatically hide the Side Bar when the page is clicked on. If the Side Bar does not automatically hide: o On the Menu, click on View > Auto-Hide Side Bar. o A check mark in front of Auto-Hide Side Bar indicates it is turned on. Buttons at the bottom include Previous, Next, Add Page, and Delete Page. Floating Toolbar The Floating Toolbar provides quick access to frequently used tools. The Floating Toolbar can be placed anywhere on the screen. Click on the tab and drag it to the desired location. The tab changes position to be towards the center of the screen. To minimize the Floating Toolbar, click on the double arrows. To maximize the Floating Toolbar, click on the double arrows again. The pens, highlighter, and eraser can be used on the board to mark on web pages and other screens. Page 8
9 Customizing the Floating Toolbar The Floating Toolbar can be customized to have the desired tools. To customize the Floating Toolbar, click on the Cog at the bottom OR, right click on the Floating Toolbar. To change the order of the tools, click on the tool to be moved and drag it to the desired location on the toolbar. The available tools include: Pen, Eraser, Keyboard, Video Player, Screen Capture Toolbar, Print Screen, Creative Pen, Line, Notebook, Screen Shade, Orient, Highlighter, Shape, Instant Conferencing, Spotlight, Area Capture, Shape Pen, Undo, Magnifier, Pointer, Full Screen Capture, Magic Pen, Right Click, Recorder, Calculator, and Freehand Capture. To add a tool to the Floating Toolbar, click and drag the tool from the Customize Floating Tools window to the desired place on the Floating Toolbar. To remove a tool, click and drag the tool from the Floating Toolbar. Columns can be added or removed from the Floating Toolbar as desired. To add another column to the Floating Toolbar, click on + (Add). To remove a column from the Floating Toolbar, click on (Subtract). To restore the Floating Toolbar to the original configuration, click on Restore Defaults. Click on Done when finished. Hiding/Showing the Floating Toolbar The Floating Toolbar can be hidden to not show on the screen. To hide the Floating Toolbar, click on the SMART Board icon on the System Tray and choose Hide Floating Tools. To display the Floating Toolbar, click on the SMART Board icon on the System Tray and choose Show Floating Tools. Using the Floating Toolbar Outside of Notebook Some tools work differently when placed on the Floating Toolbar and used outside of the SMART Notebook. Magic Pen does not fade, create the spotlight, or magnify a selected area. Screen Shade covers the entire screen, not just the Notebook area. Spotlight and Magnify function very differently. Touch Recognition The SMART Board can distinguish between a pen, a finger, and the palm or fist. When a pen is picked up out of the tray, the SMART Board recognizes it and makes it the active tool. When the SMART Board is touched with a finger or something else, it recognizes it the active tool. When the SMART Board is touched with the palm of the hand or the fist, it recognizes it and turns on the Eraser tool. Note: The SMART Board also responds to clothing or part of the body brushing up against it. Page 9
10 Notebook Files To open a notebook file: o Click on File > Open. o Navigate to the location of the desired file. o Click on the file and then click Open. To start a new notebook, click on File > New. Opening a notebook file with File > Open or starting a new notebook file closes the file currently open. The computer asks if changes to the file should be saved. The Toolbar Action Tools Tools Action Tools Enables browsing and making changes to your SMART Notebook file. 11 Tools Enables creating and working with basic objects on the page. Click on a tool to see the properties for the tool. Tool Properties Tool Properties Select Shapes Regular Polygons Fill Pens Text Lines Eraser Customizing the Toolbar The Toolbar can be customized to have the features used most often. On the Menu, click on the View > Customize Toolbar OR, right click on the Toolbar OR click on Customize the toolbar. Click on the Actions tab. Add an item by dragging it from the Customize Toolbar window to the Toolbar. Remove an item by dragging it off from the Toolbar. Click on the Tools tab. Add or remove items by dragging them to or from the Toolbar. To restore the default toolbar, click on Restore Default Toolbar. To restore tool properties to their default settings, click on Restore Default Tool Properties. Click on Done. Select Tool The Select tool is used to select items to be manipulated or changed. Click on Select on the Toolbar. Click on the desired item. Make the desired changes to the item such as resizing or changing some options. Page 11
12 Editing Objects on a Page Objects on a page can be resized and worked with in various ways. Click on Select on the Toolbar. Click on the object to be changed. A box appears around the object. Click on the Resize button and drag the object to the desired size. Click on Colors in the Toolbar and change the color as desired. Click on Line Style in the Toolbar and change the line style as desired. Click on Transparency and choose the desired transparency. To rotate the object: o Place the cursor over the Rotate button (green dot). o Click and drag to the desired angle. Additional options are available by clicking on the object s down arrow or by right clicking on the object. Object Drop Down Menu Every object has a drop down menu. Right-clicking on an object will also bring up the menu options. Each menu is specific to the object. Click on Select on the Toolbar. Click on the object. Click on the drop down arrow to open the menu. Choose the desired option. Shapes The Shapes tool is used to draw various shapes. Click on Shapes on the Toolbar. Click on desired shape. Additional shapes are available by clicking on the Down Arrow button in front of Color. Click on Color and choose the desired fill color and line color. Additional options are available by clicking on the Down Arrow to the right. Click and drag in the page to create the shape. Regular Polygons The Regular Polygons tool is used to draw regular geometric shapes. Click on Regular Polygons on the Toolbar. Click on desired polygon. Additional polygons are available by clicking on the down arrow. Click on Color and choose the desired fill color and line color. Additional options are available by clicking on the Down Arrow to the right. Click and drag in the page to create the polygon. Page 12
13 Fill Pens The Fill tool is used to fill shapes and regular polygons with the desired color and to adjust transparency. Click on Fill on the Toolbar. Click on Color and choose the desired color with which to fill the item. Click on Transparency and drag the slider to the desired transparency. The cursor becomes a bucket with a drip coming out. The active part of the cursor is the drip. Click on the item to be filled. Click on Pens on the Toolbar. Click on Pen Types and choose the desired pen. The available pen types include Pen, Calligraphic, Crayon, Highlighter, Creative Pen, Magic Pen and Shape Recognition Pen. A pen can also be chosen from the Floating Toolbar. Click on Color and choose the desired color and style for the pen. Additional options are available by clicking on the Down Arrow to the right. Deleting Objects from a Page Eraser The Eraser can delete lines drawn with a pen, but not shapes, text or lines drawn with the Line tool. Click on Eraser on the Toolbar. Click to select the desired size of eraser. Click and drag the eraser over the line(s) to be erased. Note: A flat hand or the heel of a clinched fist can be used to erase also. Deleting an Object Click on Select on the Toolbar. Click on the object to be deleted. Click on Delete on the Toolbar. OR, press the Delete key on the keyboard. Clearing the Page On the Menu, click on Edit > Clear Page OR, right click on the page and choose Clear Page. Page 13
14 Text Recognition SMART Notebook can recognize text written on a page. Select a pen and pen color as desired. Write on the SMART Board. Click to select the Select tool. Click on the writing. Click on the object s down arrow. The first choice says Recognize and the word or letters recognized. Click to select Recognize if the computer has recognized the writing correctly. Text Click on Text on the Toolbar. Click to select the desired font and font style. Click to select the desired alignment, either left or center. Click in the page where the text is to be located. Additional options are available by clicking on the Down Arrow to the right. Enter the text. Note: Use the onscreen keyboard if desired. Working with Text Text can be resized as noted above or given a specific point size. Click on Select on the Toolbar. Click on the text to be changed. Click on the Font down arrow and choose the desired font. Click on the Font Size down arrow and choose the desired font size. Click to select Bold, Italic, and/or Underline as desired. Click on More Text Options. The options listed under More Text Options include Strikeout, Subscripts, Superscripts, Insert Symbol, Check Spelling, Vertical Text, Bullets, Numbering, Decrease Indent, and Increase Indent. Checking Spelling To turn on the spell checker: o Click on Select on the Toolbar. o Click on text on the page. o Click on More Text Options. o If Check Spelling is not shaded in, click on it. o If Check Spelling is shaded in, check spelling is already turned on. o Or, click on the menu down arrow and select Check Spelling. o OR, right-click on the text and select Check Spelling. Words whose spelling is questionable are identified with a red squiggle underline. Page 14
15 Lines Eraser The Lines tool is different from the Pens in that the lines drawn are straight, except for the arc. Click on Lines on the Toolbar. Click on desired type of line. Click on Color and choose the desired line color. Additional options are available by clicking on the Down Arrow to the right. Click and drag in the page to create the line. The Eraser tool can delete lines drawn with a pen, but not shapes, text, or an arc. Click on Eraser on the Toolbar. Click to select the desired size of eraser. Click and drag the eraser over the line(s) to be erased. Note: The heel of a clinched fist can be used to erase also. Gestures Moving Gestures are movements of the hand or hands to accomplish various tasks. Swipe (left to right) Place a finger on the object and move it to the right to go to the next page. Swipe (right to left) Place a finger on the object and move it to the left to go to the previous page. Scrolling (800 Series) Place two fingers of the same hand on the board. Move the hand up, down, right, or left to the desired view or location. Flick Place a finger on the object and flick the finger to send the object flying across the board. Rotate (800 Series) Place two fingers on the object and move them as if drawing a circle on the board to rotate the image. Zooming In and Out Zoom In (Enlarge) Place two fingers on the object and move them apart to make the image larger. Zoom Out (Reduce) Place two fingers on the object and move them together to make the image smaller. Grouping/Ungrouping Erasing Group Use the finger to draw a box around the desired objects and then shake the finger to create a group. Ungroup Use the finger to touch the group of objects and then shake the finger to ungroup the objects. Erasing Place your flattened hand or the bottom of your fist over the items to be erased. 16 Screen Shade Timed Save The Screen Shade gives control over what can be seen on the whole screen. The Screen Shade can be pulled down, to the right, to the left, and/or up. To turn on the Screen Shade, click on Screen Shade on the Toolbar. To operate the Screen Shade, click on the Screen Shade and drag it to reveal the desired portion of the screen. To turn off the Screen Shade, click on Screen Shade on the Toolbar OR, click on the red X in the top right corner of the shade. The Notebook file can be set to save changes regularly to avoid losing work. On the Menu, click on File > Timed Saves. Choose the time between saves. Click on Next. Choose the desired file type to save. Click on Next. Click on the Save in: down arrow and choose the desired location for the file to be saved. Click in File Name and enter a name for the file. Click on Save. A Notebook file with Timed Save turned on notifies the user when it is opened that the feature is turned on and explains how to turn it off. Creating a New Page Notebook files can have multiple pages. Click on Add Page on the Toolbar. Renaming a Page Click on the Page Sorter tab. Right click on the thumbnail of the page and choose Rename Page. The name of the page will be highlighted in blue. Type the desired name for the page. Press Enter. Changing the Order of the Pages Click on the Page Sorter tab. Click on the page thumbnail and drag it to the desired location. Deleting a Page Navigate to the page to be deleted. Click on Delete Page on the Toolbar OR, on the Menu, click on Edit > Delete Page. Page 16
17 Deleting a Page Using Page Sorter Click on the Page Sorter tab. Click on the page to be deleted. Press the Delete key OR, click on Delete Page on the Toolbar OR, on the Menu, click on Edit > Delete Page. View Screens View Screens provides many ways of viewing the Notebook file. Click on View Screens on the Toolbar and choose one of the options OR, on the Menu, click on View and then choose Full Screen, Transparent Background, or one of the choices under Zoom. Choices available through View Screens include Full Screen, Transparent Background, Dual Page Display, various zoom percentages from 50% to 300%, Entire Page and Page Width. Full Screen Full Screen presents the Notebook file covering the entire screen and displays a small toolbar. Click on View Screens on the Toolbar and choose Full Screen. OR, on the Menu, click on View > Full Screen. To exit Full Screen, click on Exit Full Screen on the toolbar. Dual Page Display Gallery Dual Page Display presents the Notebook file with two pages side by side. Click on View Screens on the Toolbar and choose Dual Page Display OR, on the Menu, click on View > Zoom > Dual Page Display. To return to Single Page Display, click on View Screens and choose Single Page Display. OR, on the Menu, click on View > Zoom > Single Page Display. The Gallery contains many resources. Click on the Gallery tab. Navigating the Gallery Click on Gallery Essentials to view the categories. To open a folder, click on the + in front of the folder. Continue clicking on the + in front of subfolders to find the desired content. Click on the name of the desired folder. The bottom window displays the contents of the selected folder. The name of the folder and the number of items in the folder are shown at the top. The content is divided into sections for Pictures, Interactive and Multimedia, Notebook Files and Pages, and Backgrounds and Themes. Click on the triangle of the desired area to see the contents of that area. Page 17
18 Placing an Object on the Page Click on the desired object and drag it onto the Notebook page. Position and size the object as desired. Deleting an Object from the Page Click on the object to be deleted. Click on Delete in the Toolbar. OR press the Delete key on the keyboard. My Content in the Gallery The My Content area of the Gallery is where your own graphics and resources can be saved. Click on the Gallery tab. Click on My Content. The content is divided into sections for Pictures, Interactive and Multimedia, Notebook Files and Pages, and Backgrounds and Themes. Click on the triangle of the desired area to see the contents of that area. Creating a Folder in My Content Click on My Content. Click on the menu arrow. Click on New Folder. A new subcategory appears. Type a name for the new subcategory. Press Enter. Adding an Object to My Content Place an object on a page. o Note: This can be an object from the Gallery or one that you have copied and pasted to the page from another source. o The object may also be one that has been inserted on the page. Drag the object from the page to the My Content category or one of its subcategories. Adding a Gallery Object to My Content Navigate to the item in the Gallery. Right click on the item and choose Add to My Content. Page 18
19 Adding a Page to My Content Create and modify, if desired, the page to be saved in My Content. o Pages from the Gallery Essentials can also be saved to My Content. Open the Gallery and navigate to the folder in My Content where you wish to save the page. Click on the Show Addition Gallery Actions icon. (The wrench) Click on Add Current Page to My Content. Renaming an Object in My Content Navigate to the item in My Content. Click on the item. Press its menu arrow and then select Rename. Deleting an Object from My Content Navigate to the item in My Content. Click on the item. Click on the menu arrow and choose Delete OR, right click on the item and choose Delete. Click on Yes. SMART Exchange SMART Exchange is an online location for sharing resources. You must have an account in SMART Exchange to use the resources. Signing Up at SMART Exchange Click on SMART Exchange on the Toolbar. Click on Join for Free. Enter the required information of address, password, display name, first name, last name, and country. 20 Searching SMART Exchange Click on SMART Exchange on the Toolbar. Click on Sign In and sign into SMART Exchange. Click in the Search box and enter a keyword for the desired information. Press the Enter key or click on the Search button. Narrow the search by Subject, Grade, and/or Countries and making the desired selection(s). Click on Go. The search can be narrowed to SMART Notebook lessons by clicking on SMART Notebook lessons in the Narrow Results box below the Current Search box. Click on an object to view it. To download an item: o Click on Download. o Click on Save. o Navigate to the location where the item is to be saved. o Click on Save. Printing The Notebook file can be printed in a number of formats. On the Menu, click on File > Print. Under Print what:, choose the desired type of printout. o Thumbnails Prints a picture of each Notebook page with several on a sheet of paper. o Handouts Prints a picture of each Notebook page with lines for notes. o Full Page Prints each Notebook page on a single sheet of paper. Click on the Page Layout tab. In the Print Preview, notice as each change is made below, scrolling through the pages as desired. In the Header and footer section, enter the desired information. In the Layout section, make the desired choices. In the Print Range section, make the desired choice(s). Click on the Printer Setup tab. In the Printer section, click on the Printer down arrow and selected the desired printer. In the Options section, make the desired choices. Click on Print. Page 20
21 Creating a PDF File The Notebook file can be made into a pdf document in a number of formats. On the Menu, click on File > Export > PDF. o Under Print what:, choose the desired type of printout. The formats include Thumbnails, Handouts, Full Page, Questions, and Results. o Note: This option will create a PDF document although it keeps referring to printing the document. Click on the Page Layout tab. In the Print Preview, notice as each change is made below, scrolling through the pages as desired. In the Header and Footer sections, enter the desired information. In the Layout section, make the desired choices. In the Print Range section, make the desired choice(s). Click on the PDF Setup tab. Click to select Landscape if desired. Click on Save.
