Overview Our release notes provide information about new major TalentWise Hire features and enhancements to existing features on a quarterly basis. They include brief, high-level descriptions of the functionality as well as supplementary information, when available. Additionally, the release notes provide details about how the changes might impact your organization. Introducing New TalentWise Platform Licenses We are happy to announce the recent introduction of new TalentWise Platform Licenses. Our Platform Licenses go beyond background screening and offer tools that increase efficiency and improve the candidate experience in your hiring process. There are four new Platform Licenses offered, each providing a progressively more robust set of tools to complete your onboarding process: TalentWise Hire Essentials (more info) In addition to the TalentWise Hire Dashboard users gain the new candidate portal, candidate questionnaire, and access to eighteen standard integrations. TalentWise Hire Essentials Plus (more info) Everything found in TalentWise Hire Essentials plus Form I-9 and E-Verify. In addition the candidate portal can be customized. TalentWise Hire Essentials Pro (more info) Along with everything found in TalentWise Hire Essentials Plus, users get federal and state tax withholding forms, direct deposit, emergency contact, a fully branded candidate portal, equal employment opportunity, and customized forms. Also, up to 10 simple forms, and one custom form can be added. TalentWise Hire Ultimate (contact us for details) All of the functionality found in TalentWise Hire Essentials Pro, the ability to create extensive hiring workflows and automate your existing hiring processes in the cloud. Users can configure offer letters and tailor onboarding activities to fulfill unique candidate and organizational needs. TalentWise Hire Ultimate is a fully customized experience. Have questions? New Features New State Tax Withholding Forms Capabilities Available to customers with the following: Legacy customers using State Tax Withholding TalentWise Essentials Pro platform license TalentWise Ultimate platform license State tax withholding forms are now dynamically generated based on states selected during the New Hire forms process. Users can designate work location states and new employees can select additional states, depending on where they work and reside. Additionally, users can export federal and state tax withholding form data in CSV (comma-separated values) format to ease payroll processes. This data can then be imported into other systems for additional data processing and/or reporting. TalentWise Hire now covers over 120 unique state forms across all 50 states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico. Expanded Reference Codes Now Assignable to Candidates Available to all TalentWise customers. Users can now also assign reference codes to candidates to enable groupings by department, organization, and more. Reference codes can be applied at candidate creation or simply by editing the candidate s profile. Additionally, users can search candidates by reference codes. Searching Candidates by Reference Code Supplemental Document Upload Available to customers with the following: TalentWise Essentials Pro platform license TalentWise Ultimate platform license Users now have the ability to upload supplemental documents to a specific candidate's profile. These documents are all assigned a type at initial upload. This allows for the supplemental documents to be searchable by type, like all TalentWise generated documents. Supplemental documents can also be removed at any time to help maintain the candidate s document record. Supported file types include PDF, JPG, GIF, and PNG. Up to 20 documents, beyond those generated by the TalentWise platform, each with a maximum size of 10MB may be uploaded per candidate. Uploading A New Document to the Candidate Profile
Non-Candidate Facing Documents Available to customers with the following: TalentWise Essentials Pro platform license TalentWise Ultimate platform license Oftentimes users wish to have documents attached to a candidate's profile which are for internal reference only. This capability has been added to allow provisioning forms, employee information, and other documents to be generated by a TalentWise product or uploaded with the new Supplemental Document feature. All non-candidate facing documents can be found within the documents section of the candidate profile. Supported file types include PDF, JPG, GIF, and PNG. Up to 20 documents, beyond those generated by the TalentWise platform, each with a maximum size of 10MB may be uploaded per candidate. Modified Features Paper Form I-9 with E-Verify Optimization Available to customers with the following: Legacy customers using Form I-9/E-Verify TalentWise Essentials Plus platform license TalentWise Essentials Pro platform license TalentWise Ultimate platform license The Paper Form I-9 with E-Verify package has been updated to further streamline the submission process for users. First, the required Form I-9 data has been condensed from three pages down to two. Second, the document expiration date is automatically validated against the hire date to reduce errors and improve compliance by preventing the entry of expired documents. This update also enables users enrolled under the FAR E-Verify clause to successfully validate existing employees using their historic paper Forms I-9. The system configuration will further enforce E-Verify rules by preventing employers who are not enrolled as federal contractors from inappropriately verifying existing employees. Improved Web Controls in the Summary Report Available to all TalentWise customers. Users now get a refreshed set of web controls within the TalentWise Hire summary report. Along with an updated look and feel for the report, this set of improvements includes the following: The ability to filter the summary report by a specific date range Clearer summary report totals Sort report columns by clicking the headers 7.1 Old Summary Report View
