2 A Note From Stacy Stacy Nelson Classic Club Director (816) As we go through life, one thing that remains constant is that there will always be change. That is true in the Classic Club as well. Being your Classic Club Director over these past 8 years has been a great privilege. In addition to enjoying great banking benefits, together we have enjoyed monthly movies for entertainment, had informative speakers at our coffees and truly traveled to many corners of the earth. I am so grateful for your trust in allowing me to lead you to these places and also for the bonds we have made over the years. We have become family and I treasure that. As you read further in this announcement, please remember it is with excitement and anticipation of great things to come that I inform you we are modifying some things in the Classic Club. As a result, we are able to offer you more and better banking benefits. In this newsletter you will see an explanation of those benefits, including additional interest when you open a new Certificate of Deposit, as well as the Plus Package for FREE. There are so many money saving benefits to our Plus Package, I urge you to read about it on page 4. Things like card protection, rebates for purchases, costs savings on vision care, hearing aid discounts, and prescriptions are a few of benefits of this package. Not only are we growing your banking benefits but we are growing your banking locations as well. We now have a location in Belton that will be available to you after December 6th. In addition, we have filed and received approval from the Federal Reserve to acquire the Douglas County Bank in Lawrence, Kansas with an expected closing date in January of With these additional market areas and those we have added since the club s inception, it has become obvious that we can no longer offer the club as we currently do. We will soon be serving 16 markets. Since each market is unique, what we can offer in one is not always available in another. After much consideration, we have decided to make significant changes to the current program. Although the movies and coffees will be discontinued, we have added banking values that we hope you find beneficial. The trips that we have advertised in this newsletter will still be offered. Future trips, including escorted travel, may be arranged with Central Bank in Jefferson City (please see page 5 more trip information). Special events and offers will be communicated through our website, Facebook, and special mailings. We are getting back to banking, which as FORBES has said, we are one of the best at it. For those who wonder how I will fill my time, I am looking forward to working in a different division of the bank and will tell you more about that at our Holiday Parties. With this addition, Central Bank now has 26 locations in 14 distinct markets in the Kansas City metro area.
