2 WHEN AND WHERE The training course will be held on June 2011, in San Martino in Campo Perugia (Italy). San Martino in Campo is a beautiful village near Perugia, in Umbria, one of the most beautiful and green region of Central Italy. Umbria is in the heart of the Country, not simply for its geographical position but especially for its natural and artistic wonders to all appearances almost inexhaustible. Travelling Umbria roads you can experience a journey full of surprises: continuously suspended between the signs of a well preserved past and a vocation for the future. 3 Umbria today offer visitors: sport, culture, museums, epicurean delights, healing waters, and musical events of international renown. In this land History left signs of important civilisations such as Umbrian, Etruscan and Roman, and marvellous traces of the Middle Age and Renaissance. Umbria assembles a thousand facets and a thousand different souls into a single fresco, a blend of man and nature, of intense spirituality and secular pride. In parallel, rural ingeniousness patiently chiselled the environment, reclaiming land, tilling and planting olive groves and vineyards that not only produce prized oils and wines but have become the symbol of the region. Dotted with medieval towns and silent hermitages, Umbrian hills have just as much to offer as other regions that may be more famous. Umbria is also rich in water: it rises in springs and mountain lakes, runs in rivers that carve impressive rocky gorges, and broadens out into wetlands and man made lakes that are magically transformed into nature reserves. The spectacular Fonte del Clitunno Marmore Waterfalls Lake Trasimeno, the gentle flowing of the Tiber, and the leaping falls of the Cascata delle Marmore all seem to have been created intentionally to inspire poets and painters. At the end of the journey, one thing is certain: Umbria has a true vocation for beauty.

4 Perugia, sitting atop an irregular hillside, is the region s largest city of art. Most of its treasures are enclosed in the historical nucleus, delineated by the Etruscan walls. Piazza IV Novembre is the fulcrum: in its centre lies the beautiful Fontana Maggiore, symbol of Perugia, and around it stand the Gothic cathedral and the magnificent Palazzo dei Priori, which houses the Collegio del Cambio, with frescoes by Perugino, and the National Gallery of Umbria, chock full of masterpieces (sculptures by Arnolfo di Cambio and paintings by Piero della Francesca, Duccio di Buonisegna, Fra Angelico, Pinturicchio, and more). 5 DESCRIPTION OF THE ORGANISATION, TRAVEL AND ACCOMODATION ARRANGEMENTS Accommodation Participants, tutors, and speakers will be hosted in two hotels, few kilometres far from Perugia and very close each other. All the extra are not included. Breakfast includes: - sweet and savoury buffet; - fresh juice; - 1 hot drink (coffee, tea, cappuccino, chocolate, etc.) Everything not mentioned has to be considered an extra. Lunches and dinners at resort Alla Posta dei Donini consist of both warm and cold buffet with starters/salads, many different main courses and various desserts. The social dinner will be held on June 22, 2011 at the restaurant Le 3 Vaselle, Via Garibaldi Torgiano (Pg). Vegetarian needs have already been considered for both lunches and dinners. In case of specific alimentary requirements, we kindly ask to inform the Technical Secretariat.

6 SOCIAL EVENTS A visit to Perugia will be arranged on June 23, CONFERENCE CENTRE, TECHNICAL SECRETARIAT AND SERVICES The course will be held in the fully equipped Conference Centre provided by the resort Alla Posta dei Donini : direct phone line Wi Fi Internet phone conference closed circuit TV wide screen TV amplification system audio visual equipment slide projector fixed and mobile microphones. The technical assistance will be always available in both the hotels. Daily internal transfers to/from the Conference Centre are guaranteed to all the guests at Le 3 Vaselle hotel. During the whole duration of the course, the personnel in charge of the Technical Secretariat, currently speaking English, Spanish and French, will be available to offer the participants all the required support (general information, logistics, program, material etc.). A Secretariat area will be equipped with computers, Internet access, printers and all the necessary supplies to guarantee an efficient organisation.
