1 6 th NOCTURNO OF MARIÁNSKÉ LÁZNĚ MASTER COURSES THEME OF THE FESTIVAL: 'From classic to contemporary'. The festival will take place between the 16 th and 25 th July 2015, master courses from 12 th in the town Mariánské Lázně, Czech Republic. The town is one of the most famous and beautiful spa towns in the Czech Republic. Every year the town plays host to many visitors eager to experience its reknown spa treatments and engulf themselves in the beautiful natural and historical environment. Surrounded by forests and boasting a magnificent display of unique architecture and history it is the perfect location for not only healthy holidays but for the many creative cultural programs provided each year including sporting and social events, music festivals, exhibitions, congresses, sporting tournaments and much more. FESTIVAL AND MASTER S COURSES This festival and its master courses have been designed to encourage international contacts and encourage cooperation and interaction in the discovery of talented children and young prospective musicians. The participants have the oppurtunity to not only show their own skills but to enhance their professional employment prospects, acquaint themselves with contemporary teaching methods and above all to experience cultural differences intergral to participating in such an event and to experience all the things visiting a new place contains. The program includes taking participants and accompanying people on a local excursion to aquaint them with the local and regional attractions, so important and exciting when visiting somewhere new. Natalia Morozova is a Professor at Rotterdam Conservatory of Music and Department Head of Violin (Holland) and she is also a highly regarded teacher and concert performer. 2. Monique Heidema is a Professor at Rotterdam Conservatory of Music and Department Head of Violoncello as well as a Professor at the Tilburg Conservatory (Holland) 3. André Teldermann is a Professor at Rotterdam Conservatory of Music and Department Head of the Piano and conductor of the choir and orchestra in the town of Rotterdam(Holland) 4. 5 INFORMATION FOR PARTICIPANTS AND ACCOMPANYING PARTY ACCOMMODATION All participants and their accompanying people and other guests will have the exclusive use of rooms available for their stay in the hotel/pension 'Zlatý zámek' for the duration of this event. The pension is situated in the center of the town not far from the performance location. There are elevators in this pension. Participants will be accommodated in the hotel or in the pension. HOTEL CATEGORY double bed room with bathroom (beds, wardrobes, coffee tables, armchairs, table lamps, all bedclothes provided, towels, bathroom, WC, shower, TV, fridge) plus breakfast PENSION CATEGORY double 3 and 4 bed rooms of student quality ( wardrobes, beds, writing desks, table lamps, hand basin with hot and cold water, drinking water, mirror and balcony) every floor also contains WC s and showers.
