We capture your sound Lansky Sound is Arkansas forerunner in high-quality mobile audio recording and production. We provide a full range of on-location recording services for a wide variety of music organizations and performers, including classical soloists, orchestral ensembles, symphonies, jazz bands, choirs, chamber music, and vocal soloists. Our flexible mobile production suite allows us to capture your performance outside of a conventional studio environment in a performance venue of your choice. We offer comprehensive post-production services including editing, mixing and mastering of musical performances of all genres and we work closely with our clients to ensure that the final product meets the highest standards. There is no project too big or small, no budget too tight at Lansky Sound we specialize in making your sonic dreams a reality.
Audio and Video Services Anywhere On Location Recording Services Tracking, Editing, Mixing and Mastering Services MP3 and Custom CD, Internet Hosting Live Sound Setup and Live Mixing Consultation Training and Workshops in Music Production and Live Sound Transform your music into a studio quality recording no matter where you are performing. Lansky Sound will travel anywhere to bring you premier recording services for your concerts, recitals, rehearsals, and audition recordings. Amateurs and students can have the same high quality editing, mixing, and mastering services that professionals demand for their recordings. We offer a comprehensive set of services to produce your custom CD, recorded live in high fidelity at your location with clean studio sound. Produce professional CDs to be sold to audiences or used as demos for competitions and management agencies. Lansky Sound provides you with an edited and mastered standard CD and/or raw unedited files. Our complete CD package covers everything from planning sessions to producing the finished product. Students applying to music schools, music festivals, and music conservatories can take advantage of our audition recording services and special rates for audition CDs or portfolio recordings. Capture your performance or live event on digital video accompanied with studio quality sound. Lansky Sound can also upload your video for web broadcasting on channels such as YouTube and SoundCloud.
The Natural Acoustic Advantage Modern high quality portable recording equipment allows recordings to be made almost anywhere: from the comfort of a client s home to an interesting environment like a stairwell. But the real benefit of recording on location is access to performance halls and churches with their beautifully crafted acoustics, the comfort of a familiar atmosphere, and access to instruments such as grand pianos and pipe organs. Individuals and ensembles familiar with performing in concert halls or churches perform best in that environment. Lansky Sound will come to your location so your performers don t have to struggle with unfamiliar acoustics or awkward headphones found in traditional recording studios. Imagine your ensemble in their regular seating configuration while Lansky Sound captures an accurate stereo image of each performer, combined with the natural reverberation and harmonic interaction of the instruments. The recorded sound mirrors what you expect in your normal performance with full control over the final mix of dynamics, phrasing, and blend.
Capture an Audience Not a Moment Your door to success is more than capturing a moment. Lansky Sound provides consultation and planning to help you turn your musical dreams into a reality. Promote your music and raise funds: Your professionally produced CDs are ideal for promotion and fundraising. Your audiences can take home your performance captured in crisp studio quality sound. Music fans expect to be able to relive your performance after the show. Students and amateurs can provide family, friends, and fellow music lovers a memory they will cherish forever. Promote music education and recruit students: Proudly display your recordings on your Music Department website. Show your prospective students that you excel in your craft and honor students efforts. Help your students advance their education and jump-start their careers by creating professional quality portfolio/audition recordings for school, scholarships, and job applications. Crisp professional recordings can improve the quality of applications and open doors to new opportunities. Perfect your performance: Listening to quality recordings can help musicians identify opportunities for improvement and focus on how to perfect their technique and performance skills.
The Lansky Sound Team Adam Lansky is the co-founder and audio engineer/producer. For a decade, he has traveled coast to coast to create the best recordings in classical, hip-hop, progressive rock, folk, metal, and electronic. His field experience in independent film, theatre, television, live production and broadcast FM radio has earned him a reputation for capturing the best sound whether inside or outside of a traditional studio. Armed with an Associate in Arts degree from Florida State University and scores of music production certifications from the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences in Phoenix, Adam moved to Little Rock to make new waves in sound. Ovation Music Academy partnered with Adam to develop and teach a recording and production curriculum. And, he was soon selected as an audio engineer for the Arkansas Hot Springs Music Festival and worked alongside Jamie Tagg to record some of the finest classical performers from around the world. Adam now works with internationally acclaimed conductor, Phillip Mann, to capture the vibrant sounds of the Arkansas Symphony Orchestra. Adam s theatre engineering and sound design experience includes work for the Arkansas Repertory Theatre, San Diego Repertory Theatre, Sunshine Brooks Theatre, New Village Arts Theatre, and Star Theatre. Film credits include Darkan Entertainment, 1134 Films/Milkfarm, Knuckle City Films, Fifth Manor, Grey Sand Entertainment, and Focus One Entertainment. Adam also serves as producer for KABF 88.3 and is a member of the local Little Rock Band, QuadkilleR. Anna Makogonova is co-founder and business manager. Her extensive background in finance and management began in 1997 at Hendrix College, where she earned a Bachelor s degree in International Relations and Global Studies with an emphasis in Economics and later added a Master s degree in Public Administration from the University of Arkansas in Little Rock. Prior to founding Lansky Sound, she worked in finance and management for nonprofit organizations such as Women International for Peace and Freedom, Heifer International, and the Arkansas Department of Human Services. Beginning at the age of eight, Anna received intensive musical training in classical piano performance, music theory and history, and choir from the Khabarovsk Music Academy in Russia. She remains an avid supporter of music education. Guest specialists: Lansky Sound works with an extensive network of skilled technicians who bring specialized skills best suited to meet the needs for unique clients.
