PUBLIC TRANSPORT TO ANZERE We strongly recommend consulting train & bus timetables before purchasing flights as there are only limited services to and from Anzère in the early morning and late evening For groups of 20+ persons arriving and departing at the same time, TACKERS can arrange bus transfers at competitive prices please contact us for details. A comprehensive timetable in English, French, German and Italian for both trains and Post buses can be found at Geneva airport The journey time from Geneva airport to Anzère is approximately 3 hours and the adult price is 61 one way and 122 return. It is necessary to change from train to Post bus in Sion. The last train from Geneva airport with a connection to Anzère leaves at 17:53 (arrival in Anzère at 20:46). The first bus from Anzère leaves at 06:50, which gives an arrival at Geneva airport at 9:37. Zurich airport The journey time from Zurich airport to Anzère is approximately hours and the adult price is 109 one way and 218 return. It is necessary to change trains in Visp and from train to Post bus in Sion. 6

7 The last train from Zurich airport with a connection to Anzère leaves at 17:13 (arrival in Anzère at 20:46). The first bus from Anzère leaves at 06:50, which gives an arrival at Zurich airport at 11:16. Child fares Children 1-5 years of age, accompanied by an adult, travel free. Children 6-15 years of age, travel at 50% of the adult fare. Children years of age, travel at the adult fare. 1-day travel pass for children 6-16 years of age A 1-day travel pass costs 16 for each child and allows up to 4 children travelling with an adult to travel free throughout Switzerland for 1 day. PROGRAMME OF ACTIVITIES DURING THE WEEK We will be publishing a programme of activities and events for the Friends of TACKERS week to include a welcome reception, karaoke evening and bar-b-que. We very much hope that all participants in the Friends of TACKERS week will come and support the children participating in the TACKERS camp at the end of the week during their slalom race. Please already put Saturday 24 January from 10:00-12:00 in your calendar! The slalom race will be followed by an aperitif for all and a giant bar-b-que for which tickets will be available during the week. The programme of activities as well as other information will soon be published on the TACKERS website at DONATING TO FRIENDS OF TACKERS TACKERS relies solely on donations to provide amazing experiences for young transplant recipients. TACKERS has organised this Friends of TACKERS week and negotiated significant discounts for family and friend participants, but will not receive any commission from the various suppliers.
