1 NordSIR meeting Helsinki PRACTICAL INFORMATION Participants who have been booked to Hotel Arthur (Address: Vuorikatu 19, Helsinki) can get to the hotel from the airport by taking the HSL bus number 615 to the central railway station Rautatientori (or Helsinki City). Also the Finnair bus drives from the airport to the central railway station (Elielinaukio), but it is a bit more expensive. Tickets can be purchased from the driver or from the vending machine at the bus stop. How to get to the meeting place in Suomenlinna? The NordSIR meeting will take place in Suomenlinna sea fortress in the meeting room Pajasali in the building Pirunkirkko. The building is marked with number 1 on the Suomenlinna map below. The HSL ferries to Suomenlinna leave from Kauppatori at 9:40, 10:20 and at 11:20. Tickets can be bought from the vending machine. Notice that if you will by a 1-3 day ticket, the same ticket is valid for all public transportation in Helsinki city area. 3 On Friday 28.3., the meeting will continue at the Department of Physics in Kumpula. The address is: Physicum, Kumpula campus Gustaf Hällströmin katu 2a FI Helsinki. The busses from Helsinki city to Kumpula leave from central railway station (Rautatientori). Bus numbers 68, 70, 75, 77, 730, 731, 732, 741, 742 stop at Kumpula.
