1 Helsinki region public transport Ticket prices From 1 January 2014
2 Travel Card season tickets You can load on your Travel Card a season ticket for any period between two weeks and one year ( days). The price of a season ticket consists of the 14 day basic fare and the price of extra days for the days following. You can load one or two consecutive season tickets leaving a maximum of 60 days between each one. The tickets will be priced separately. The validity of the season ticket can begin immediately or within 1 60 days from the moment of purchase. You can calculate the prices of season tickets using a calculator at One-zone tickets Helsinki, Espoo Kauniainen, Vantaa, Kerava Sipoo or Kirkkonummi 14 days extra day 30 days 365 days Personal Travel Card Discount group Discount group Multi-user Travel Card and general season ticket Journeys within Helsinki, Vantaa or Kirkkonummi are onezone journeys. Espoo and Kauniainen as well as Kerava and Sipoo form one zone.

4 Day tickets Tickets loaded on a single-charge card are valid from the time they are first used, including during the night fare hours. Ticket machines, drivers and conductors only sell Helsinki internal and regional day tickets. The tickets are paper tickets and they are valid from the moment of purchase. 6 Buying a value ticket Place the card calmly to the reading area of the card reader from straight ahead, hold it there and press at the same time: 1 / INTERNAL: one-zone ticket for city internal journeys in Helsinki, Vantaa or Kirkkonummi. Espoo and Kauniainen as well as Kerava and Sipoo together form one zone. Kerava, Sipoo and Kirkkonummi Vantaa, Espoo and Kauniainen Helsinki 2 / REGION: regional ticket valid in Helsinki, Espoo, Kauniainen and Vantaa. 0 / TRAM: ticket for adults valid only on trams. L / EXTENDED REGION: twozone extended regional ticket valid in Espoo, Kauniainen, Vantaa, Kerava, Sipoo and Kirkkonummi. The ticket is not valid in Helsinki. 3 / WHOLE REGION: threezone extended regional ticket valid in Helsinki, Espoo, Kauniainen, Vantaa, Kerava, Sipoo and Kirkkonummi. Kirkkonummi Regional ticket Two-zone regional ticket Three-zone regional ticket Vantaa Espoo and Kauniainen Helsinki Kerava Sipoo
7 Travel Card value tickets Night fare 2.00am 4.30am Discount group 2 Discount group 1 Helsinki Helsinki, tram ticket 1.46 Espoo Kauniainen, Vantaa Kerava Sipoo, Kirkkonummi Regional ticket and two-zone regional ticket Three-zone regional ticket You can load value. i.e. money from 5 to 400 euros. Other charges Card charge 5, processing fee 6 A processing fee is charged e.g. for the transfer of season ticket or value from a lost Travel Card to a new one. If a passenger is not able to produce a valid ticket, they are charged a penalty fare and the price of a single (or value) ticket. Transfer times Internal value and single tickets for Helsinki are valid for 60 minutes, on some routes for 20 minutes longer. Internal tickets for Espoo, Vantaa, Kirkkonummi and Kerava- Sipoo, as well as regional and 2-zone extended regional tickets are valid for 80 minutes. Three-zone extended regional tickets are valid for 100 minutes. Tram tickets entitle you to transfers on tram routes only. Transfer time is 60 minutes. For tickets purchased from ticket machines and VR s booking offices the transfer times are 10 minutes longer.
