1 Matrix Technical Support Mailer 61 SMDR [Offline & Online] Through Ethernet Port Dear Friends, 02/07/2013 This mailer tells us how to generate SMDR [Offline\Online] through Ethernet port. This feature helps us to take SMDR [Offline\Online] from any PC which is connected in LAN\WAN with ETERNITY. This feature can be very beneficial for the customer as he can take SMDR remotely. It can also help the growth of your business by fulfilling customer requirements. SMDR on Ethernet port will be available from ETERNITY version V8R10 onwards. Steps to generate SMDR offline: Step1: Connect ETERNITY with PC/Laptop directly or through (LAN/WAN) through Ethernet cable as shown below: LAN/WAN PC/Laptop ETERNITY IP Address: IP Address: Step2: Open web browser in PC. Step3: Enter IP address of ETERNITY [ in this case] in address bar of your browser and press enter key.

2 Step4: You will get ETERNITY Jeeves home page. Step5: Go to System Engineer mode. Step6: Enter SE password. Step7: Now click on SMDR Reports as shown below. Click on SMDR Reports Step8: Set SMDR Reports parameters as shown below. Select Ethernet as Destination Port Assign an IP Address of your PC in which Kiwi Syslog is installed Assign the port number same as configured in Kiwi Syslog

3 Step9: Go to below mentioned link to download Kiwi Syslog software (trade mark of Kiwi Corporation). 02/07/2013 Step10: Follow the below given steps to setup the Kiwi Syslog.

4 Step11: Select Kiwi Syslog Server as an Application. Step12: Click on install button for installation.

5 Step13: Wait for few seconds to complete this installation. Step14: Click on finish button.

6 Step15: Now Kiwi Syslog setup is completed. Step16: Open Kiwi Syslog. Step17: Go to file menu and select setup.

7 Step18: Select TCP and program listening TCP port as mentioned below. 02/07/2013

8 Step19: Save SMDR file to desired folder of your PC as shown below. Step20: Log out from System Engineer (SE) mode and log in to System Administrator (SA) mode.

9 Step21: Go to SMDR management. 02/07/2013

10 Step22: Click on respective option (OG call print filters in case of SMDR report generation of outgoing calls). 02/07/2013 Click on print Report to generate SMDR report for outgoing calls

11 Step23: Finally, you will get outgoing offline SMDR report as shown below. 02/07/2013 Open saved file in Notepad

14 Step8: Set SMDR Online parameters as shown below. Select Ethernet as Destination Port Assign an IP Address of your PC in which Kiwi Syslog is installed Assign the port number same as configured in Kiwi Syslog Step9: Open Kiwi Syslog. Open Kiwi Syslog

16 Step11: Select TCP and program listening TCP port as mentioned below. 02/07/2013

17 Step12: Save SMDR file to desired folder of your PC as shown below. Step13: Log out from System Engineer (SE) mode and log in to System Administrator (SA) mode.

18 Step14: Go to SMDR management. 02/07/2013

19 Step15: Click on SMDR Online. Click on Start button to start SMDR online report Step16: Now your online report will start and calls will be displayed as it gets ended.

20 If SMDR report is not getting generated on Kiwi Syslog display then it is advisable to disable the windows firewall and disable the antivirus software installed in your system. Open saved file in Notepad
