1 Associate Guide CHRISTUS Health 2017

2 Getting Started Logging in is easy as 1, 2, 3! 1. From your computer or mobile device, go to mychristuslife.com 2. Login with your CHRISTUS network User Name and Password 3. Click Login Tip: Notice all the links you may access on a regular basis are provided for you on the home page. When accessing any of those websites, you will still need to login separately with that site s credentials Once you ve logged in, you will see Welcome, your name and the tool bars for navigating on the site. All your regularly used links are still available to you and the main page is always updated with current HR information.

3 Search for Answers Click Search for Answers to: 1. Search HR Forms Find HR Forms to open and print 2. Search HR Knowledge Type key words into a search box to find HR policies and articles 3. Submit a Question to HR Select the Category you need and a representative will respond to you via an HR Case (see Track Your Cases on page 7) MyCHRISTUSLife houses HR Policies, Administrative and Operational System Policies, Clinical System Policies, Compliance System Policies, Information Management System Policies and Privacy System Policies. Click Policies to: Review the policy categories and click on a category to see a specific policy.

4 Open an HR Case Click Open an HR Case to: Related Categories: Benefits, Education Services, HRIS Services, Tuition Assistance/Tuition Reimbursement, Career, General Inquiry and Payroll Services. Review descriptions for each, select the category you need, complete the form and click submit. It s that easy.

5 Submit a Question to HR or Open an HR Case Click Search for Answers then Submit a Question to HR then choose one of the following Categories: 1. Benefits Claims (unresolved BCBS) Benefit Deductions Third Party Forms Matched Savings Plan Loans or Hardship Distributions TDA Distributions CHRISTUS Approved Tier 1 Overrides 2. Education Services Clinical Education HLC Upload Health Stream Requests 3. HRIS Interface Issues Payroll/HR Reports 4. Tuition Assistance/Tuition Reimbursement Submit Requests 5. Career Career growth requests 6. General Inquiry -- Replacement Name Badge, Associate Data Correction, etc., 7. Payroll PTO Payouts Retro Pay Manual Check Inquiries Termination Payment Voluntary Deductions Payroll Tax Issues Tip: If you can t find an appropriate category or type, select General Inquiry and then select Other in the Type field. An HR Representative will route your case to the appropriate place.

6 Chat With an HR Representative MyCHRISTUSLife is staffed by knowledgeable, dedicated CHRISTUS Associates. Business hours are 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday. You may speak directly to an HR Representative via chat from a computer or mobile device or by phone. To chat: 1. After logging in, click the Chat With HR button. 2. A chat box will appear letting you know approximately how long it will be until an HR Representative is available. 3. Type a question into the box at the bottom and press Enter or Return. Please note your chat will not become active until you have submitted your question. 4. Stand by for the next available HR Representative. To call: Dial MYCL (6925)

7 Track Your HR Cases Any time you submit a question, request or issue online, you will be assigned an HR Case Number. You may also be assigned an HR Case Number if your phone call or chat will require further follow up. 1. There are a couple of ways you can view your Case. a. Click My HR Requests at the top of the screen. A list of your active cases will appear. b. Check your CHRISTUS . You can click on the case number to view its status. 2. Once your Case has been resolved, you will receive another . Review the Resolution Notes section for a response to your question or on the action taken. Tip: If you click on the link from your to open your Case, you may be asked to login. Use your network ID and password. 8
