2 WELCOME TO HOLMEN ELITE TOURNAMENT! THE MOST PROFFESSIONAL AND EXCLUSIVE TOURNAMENT IN NORWAY Holmen IF Fotball would like to welcome every participants to our tournament. We are looking forward to many great matches, watch some of our countries best players in action and see the development and learning curve of each and every player. We have done all we can to make this the best tournament experience ever for you and your team, and we hope that you are as excited as we are to kick of the tournament! In this information sheet, you will find a presentation of each team participating in the tournament, the match schedule and every thing else that you might need to know about the tournament. We will also recommend you to follow our event on Facebook / homepage, for live updates, interviews with players, coaches and referees. Pictures and videoes from the weekend can also be found there. These pages will be updated every day. We will also, after the tournament, publish full matches on our Youtube-channel, so you can analyse and re-live your memories from Holmen Elite Tournament If you have any questions during the tournament, you can contact Espen Johansen (head of sports and tournament leader for the weekend), or you can find people in the sportscenter with yellow bibs. 10 Fredrikstad FK Bylag GROUP A Fredrikstad FK Bylag is a city team, consisting of the best players from all the clubs in their area. The team was established in November, and has played a lot of matches and participated in Riga Cup with big success. The team are coached by Thomas Skjærli Hansen, Daniel Vorku Pedersen and Tor Arne Andersen.

11 Oppsal IF GROUP A Oppsal IF is a big club in Norway, located a bit east of the capital Oslo. Oppsal IF U.13 / B.2002 was established in September 2014, and have in a short period of time made a great development. The team are competing against the best teams in Norway with good results, and were also the winners in Fornebu Elite Cup, Moss BDO Cup and Kurland Cup. The team has two players who represents the Oslo Region Side.

12 Askims IK GROUP A Askims IK s 2002-team is a big group of players, who have been the number one team in Gothenborg the previous years. This season they have greater competition from top clubs like IFK Göteborg and GAIS, but have still made good results the last months. The team have participated in many tournaments the last years, this will however be their first elite tournament. Askims IK will face Sprint Jeløy IL, Fredrikstad FK Bylag and Oppsal IF in the group stage.

13 Sprint Jeløy IL GROUP A Sprint Jeløy IL are the biggest club in their area, with a great tradition for good teams. The team normaly plays in the U.13 1.division in the Østfold Region, and are participating in several tournaments this season. The team also participated in Holmen Akadem Turnering 2014 with sucsess, and finished the tournament with bronze-medals and a trophy to take back home to Jeløya.

14 Skiljebo SK GROUP B Skiljebo SK s is one of Swedens top teams in the 2002-category, despite not being a top club, like many of their competetors. Their results in tournaments are consistently good, and one of their top performences so far has to be their silver-medal in AIK Inivitational U.12, where they lost a tight game against Crystal Palace in the final. Skiljebo SK will face Norwegian sides KFUM Oslo, Lørenskog IF and Florø SK in the group stage.

15 KFUM Oslo GROUP B KFUM Oslo is one of the most respected clubs in Oslo, and they are known for they attractive style of play and their ability to develope good, young players. The team has played many quality matches the last year, and one week ago they finished third in Legea Elite Cup in Notodden (NOR), after a defeat against Stabæk IF in the semifinal. The team has two players in the Oslo Region Side, and will compete in Group B in our tournament.

16 Florø SK GROUP B Florø fotball is the only football club in Florø, on the westerncost city of Norway. Florø has approximate inhabitats and 40 of them play for the U.13 team. Up until this year, the team has only played 5-a-side and 7-a-side football. This year they will have two teams playing 9-a-side and one team playing 11-a-side. As the football district do not offer a separate class for U.13, all three teams will play in a combined class of U.13 and U.14. The group of 40 practice twice a week. All players may also sign up for the academy, where additional three training sessions are offered. This year, 24 players has taken part of the academy. Last summer the boys experienced their few minutes of fame, as they entered the field for the final of Gothia cup in Gothenburg. Loosing on penalties took a while to digest, but it was quite an experience. Now, the boys are looking forward to play the Holmen elite tournament, even though they are expecting a lot of really hard matches. Florø wishes all participants good luck with the upcoming event!

17 Lørenskog IF GROUP B Lørenskog IF is an old and and honoroble club located in Lørenskog outside of Oslo. The club has about 900 active players and the 2002-team has about 80 players divided at 4 teams. Lørenskog IF U.13 Elite consists of 16 players. Also many talented 2003-players practice and play matches with the team. The head coach is Hans Tvedte and the goalkeeper coach is Sigurd Wiik Hagen. In the staff you will also find 3 assistants, team leader and a gear manager. The team plays in the U.13 Level 1 in Akershus and has a high activity level, with many sessions and tournaments in and outside of Norway.

18 IFK Lidingö GROUP C IFK Lidingö is one of our visitors from Sweden. Their 2002-team has made some impressive accomplishments, among others winning Future Cup after smashing IFK Göteborg 7-2 in the final. The team are registrated for an elite tournament in Valencia (ESP) this season, as well as some other exiting activities. IFK Lidingö will compete in group C and face the Norwegian sides Strømsgodset E.A, Fornebu FK and Asker Fotball.

19 Strømsgodset E.A GROUP C Strømsgodset E.A is the elite academy of the Tippeliga club, and a part of Strømsgodset Toppfotball. The team consits of players from all over Drammen, who will represent the biggest club of the city this weekend at Holmen Elite Tournament, U.13. Strømsgodset IF will face IFK Lidingö, Asker Football and Fornebu FK in the group stage of the tournament. Maybe we will find a new Martin Ødegaard in their 2002-generation?

20 Fornebu FK GROUP C Fornebu FK are a new club, established by the heads of NFA (Norwegian Football Academy). The players have all been a part of their academy plan from a young age, and after the establishment of the club a couple of years ago, they can still work and develope in the same environment as usual. The team has played many high-end tournaments, and with trophies in Ham-Kam Talent Cup, Fornebu Elite Cup and participation in the Portuguise tournament Mundolito, where they played Sporting Lisbon among other teams, they should be well prepared for a top tournament at Holmen. The team are coached by Thierry Kopp and Terje Lübeck.

21 Asker SK GROUP C Asker Fotball is a team located aproxomently 25 minutes outside of Oslo. The 2002-team has this year participated in BIP Cup, Drammen Cup and Fornebu Elite Cup and are playing in the league U.14 level 2. The team participated in Holmen Akademi Turnering 2014, and finished at 5th place after winning the placement match against Ham-Kam in extra time. The team are coached by Ole Petter Engebregtsen.

22 Holmen IF Fotball GROUP D Holmen IF Fotball s 2002-team is the third team to make the ranks from Holmenakademiet to the youth football (U.13-U.19) in the clubs history. The team has played many big matches, and have two years in a row played the highest league system against one year older players, as well as played matches against teams like Zenit St. Petersburg, Fulham FC, Queens Park Rangers FC and most of the top teams in Scandinavia. The elite-group consists of approxomently 30 players who plays for either the first - or second team. They practice about 5 times a week and are coached by Simen Moe. We are looking forward to the tournament and wishes everybody a great weekend at Holmen!

23 Viking FK GROUP D Viking is one of the most famous clubs in the history of Norwegian football. The senior team has won the league and the cup several times and has had a lot of national team players. The U.13-team has a mix of 2002 and 2003-born players of high quality. The players has been training together for three-four years and the aim is to develop good, young players for the professional senior team in the elite league. The U.13-team has a full time hired coach and recruits players from Stavanger and the area around Norway s fourth largest city.

24 FC Espoo GROUP D FC Espoo boys 2002 is a ambitious football team from the city of Espoo in Helsinki metropolitan area. The team consists of 22 players, head coach, four other coaches and several people in the background organization. The basis for the success of the team is built by practicing in average 5-6 times a week.

25 Flint Tønsberg FK GROUP D Flint Tønsberg FK is by far the biggest club in Vestfold, and have a great tradition for good youth teams. The 2002-generation is a big group of players who play in the U.13 league system, level 1, in Vestfold, as well as participating in some selected tournaments. Flint Tønsberg FK will compete against Holmen IF Fotball, FC Espoo and Viking FK in the group stage of Holmen Elite Tournament U.13.
