4 NOTES Like all kits the Motion Tracker will need some trimming, filling and sanding in places. Please be sure to fully read this manual before assembly. It is recommended that each piece be test fitted before final assembly, and any relevant modifications should be made carefully. Any plastic glue can be used to assemble this kit, though it s probably best to test your glue on a small piece before using it across the kit. These are the sling hooks I use on the full build. According to my research they are almost identical to the Webley & Scott sling swivels used on the original prop. When screwing in the sling swivels, because the pilot holes are smaller than the screw threads (because some people use other swivel mounts) I actually heat up the screw ends so they melt the plastic of the pilot holes as I screw them in. This creates a good fit and doesn t risk popping apart the surrounding handle. Screws used in the kit: There is only one size screw used throughout the kit to make it easier to get what you need. 3mm screws are usually called M3". The measurements mentioned in this manual relate to the ideal length of the screw, though usually you can get away with different lengths (especially if you re glueing too). Graphics used in the kit: You will find two sets of graphics included if you purchased the full kit. These are reverse printed onto transparent plastic to give the best effect. Either paint the backs with white paint, or glue the graphics to white card/plasicard using transparent glue before assembling into the tracker where indicated. 5 Vs1 Mb1 1 Glue Vs1 firmly into the socket of Mb1. Use extra glue around the edge to make sure it s firmly in place. 30mm Screws Mb2 2 Screw Mb1 through Bs1 into Mb2 using Bs1 4 x 30mm Screws from the top at the back and the underneath on the front. Mb1 30mm Screws

6 Ha1 3 Glue Tr1 into the socket located in either Ha1 part. 14mm Screws 30mm Screw Tr1 Ha1 4 Screw both halves of Ha1 together using M3 Screws. Optionally apply glue for extra strength. 5 The handle slots into the circular groove in the top of the body and the triangular slot at the bottom. Use two 30mm screws to secure it (optionally use glue and /or nuts for extra strength)and apply glue to the top handle connection. 30mm Screws

7 6 Glue 2 x Lg1 pins to the sockets in Pu1 then apply glue to the pins and Pu1 and attach it to the tracker body. Lg1 30mm Screw Pu1 Us1 7 Connect Us1 to the underside of the body with a 30mm screw. 30mm Screw 8 Glue Lg1 pins to connect Sb1 and Db1 to the Lg1 Sb1 corresponding sockets in the Tracker body. Use a 30mm nut, screw and glue to attach Bp1 to the side of the body. Db1 Bp1

8 Cn1 9 Glue Pu2 and Cn1 to the pins as shown. Pu2 10mm Screws 10 Use 10mm screws to attach the half of Sb1 with holes all the way through to the side of the tracker body. Sb1 11 Glue Lg1 pins into the sockets in the inner sides of both halves of Sb1. 30mm Screws Jb1 Lg1 12 Use 30mm screws to attach Jb1 to the top of the tracker body.

9 Me1 13 Glue the Sm1 pins to the top of the tracker body and glue Me1 in place. Glue the button panel graphic in place as shown. Glue the meter graphic into the recess in Me1. 15 Using 4 x 14mm screws attach Lw1 to the front of the tracker body. Lw1 14mm Screws

10 14mm Screw Mb3 16 From the inside of Mb3, use a 14mm screw to attach Ms1 Ms1 17 Use 4 x 30mm screws to attach the completed Mb3 part to the bottom of the tracker body. Note the orientation of the inset sides. Mb3 Inset faces 30mm Screws 18 Glue Ws1 sockets into the socket holes of the tracker body. Ws1

11 Vp1 19 Glue the two halves of Vp1 together - Alternatively use the single-piece Vp1 Vp1 Vp1 Vb1 20 Push Vp1 through the hole in the body of Vb1 and firmly glue in place. 21 Glue Vb2 into place around the pin extending from Vb1. Vb2 Vr1 Sm1 22 Glue Vr1 to the back of Vb1 optionally using Sm1 in the holes on both Vr1 and Vb1 to get a good alignment.

12 Sm1 23 Glue Vp1 to Vb1 using Sm1 to align Vp1 correctly. Glue the meter graphic in place as shown. Vp1 Sm1 24 Glue Vs1 to Vb1 using Sm1 to align Vs1 correctly. Vs1 25 Insert Vd1 into the recess in Vb1, note the notch in one side for alignment. Glue the screen graphic on Vd1, then place the transparent plastic on top. Finally glue Vf1 to Vb1. 13 26 Glue Ws1 into the socket in the back of Vb1. Vp1 27 Connect the viewer to the Tracker body by plugging it into the socket. If you want to remove the viewer, gently sand down the connector ridges. NOTE: The connector/socket may need trimming or sanding to fit, it is designed to be very tight. 28 Glue the two halves of Cr1 together. Cr1

14 Cr1 Heatshrink Tube Thin cable 29 Side a length of heatshrink tubing over the end of Cr1. Glue the thin cable into the recessed end of Cr1. slide up and heat the heatshrink tube to cover the join. 30 Side the Cr1 tube through the holes in the top side of the tracker until the end protrudes around 1cm (It will be a very tight fit). Push the smaller wire end into the hole on the side of the handle. Cr1 31 Side heatshrink tubing over end of the shorter fat cable tubing and glue it into the protruding end of Cr1, then slide the heatshrink down to cover the join and heat it up. Push the other end into the Ws1 socket. Cr1 Cr1

15 32 Insert the ends of the longer fat cable tube into the Ws1 sockets in the back of the Viewer and the Tracker body. Tp1 33 Use a small length of heatshrink tube and glue to connect Tp1 to the very thin cable. 34 Glue Tp1 into the small hole in the side of Pu1. Then glue the other end of the cable into the Cn1 socket. Pu1 Cn1
