2 Kit contents 1 Transmitter 2 button, with lanyard, 3 x AAA batteries fitted inside transmitter. 1 Receiver unit 24VDC 1 Wiring loom, +/-VDC + Ground Wired plug assembly with metal hood, and control panel cable gland Tools required 1/8 flat blade terminal style screw driver 1 x self tapping screws 1 x pilot drill to suit self tapping screws Screw driver to suit self tapping screws Drilling device for the pilot drill. Ensure that the power is disconnected from the machine

3 The wireless remote is intended to be fitted to the rear of the MP-25 control box, using suitable self tapping screws. (not provided). 1 Locate the wiring loom and connect the yellow banded remote connector to the remote socket on the control panel. 2 Remove the rubber plug from the top left of the side of the control panel. 3 Insert the longer power cord part of the loom through the hole (remember to remove the nut from the gland before inserting the cable into the hole). Place the nut on to the rear of the thread of the gland and tighten securely.

4 4 Find a suitable location on the rear of the control panel, within reach of the cable lengths, ensuring that the brown connector that inserts into the receiver unit is lower than the hole in the control panel, to ensure that water does not drain through the inside of the cable into the box after wash down. NOTE Care must be taken when cleaning to avoid excessive water spray on or around the receiver unit. 5 Using a permanent marker pen or similar make a mark through the two holes in the receiver on the control panel rear. Typical location shown below. IMPORTANT the screws must not protrude further than ½ inside the box or possible damage to the inner plate and parts mounted to it might result.

5 6 Carefully using the drilling device, drill two holes in the rear of the control panel that match the drill size of the self tapping screws chosen. NOTE - Use a center punch in the center of the holes prior to drill is recommended to prevent the drill from wandering during drilling. 7 Connect the brown plug into the base of the receiver until 2 clicks can be heard, indicating that the holding catches have engaged, ensuring that the connector will not come loose. 8 Fix the receiver to the back of the control box using the self tapping screws and the screw driver. DO NOT over tighten of the thin metal of the control b=panel can strip out the thread preventing the screw from holding the receiver. 9 Once the unit is fixed to the panel, ensure that power part of the loop is not too tight in it s path into the box or placing any strain on the brown plug. Adjust as required by loosening the cover nut on the cable gland, and sliding in or out the cable as desired. 10 Re-tighten the top nut of the cable gland. Ensure that the power is disconnected from the machine

6 11 Open the control panel front and locate the power part of the loom and the RED and BLACK 24VDC connector blocks 12 Identify the cable #8 marked with +24VDC, the cable #7 marked with VDC, and the Green/yellow cable marked with The earth symbol

7 13 Using the terminal screw driver loosen one of the screws that retains a RED wire within the RED terminal block, with draw the cable then re-insert together with the new cable #8 marked with +24VDC. 14 Fully insert and then tighten the terminal screw. Check the security of the new connections to ensure that they will not fall out. 15 Repeat the procedure for the cable #7 marked with VDC and for the green/yellow / earth cable. 16 Re check all the connections. 17 Connect the power to the machine and turn on main breaker on the machine. If sufficient water pressure is present then the power and water PSI lights should illuminate, if not then turn on the water pump. If no water can be connected then remove the water PSI plug and replace with the dummy plug to simulate water pressure. (DO NOT LEAVE CONNECTED DURING OPERATION). 18 Once the power and PSI light have illuminated then check to see that the various status lights on the receiver unit are illuminated, indicating that power is present. 19 Ensure that the MP-25 is ready for operation, then press the transmitter start button and the unit should start to operate. Press the transmitter stop button and the unit should stop operation. 20 The wireless remote kit has now been successfully installed and the unit is ready for operation. It is suggested that the operator establish the range of the transmitter s operation at each job to ensure that the machine can still be started and stopped when required.
