2 Step 1: Access JPAE You my ccess the JPAE Appliction t jpe.polytechnic.edu.sg You will e le to see different welcome pge depending on the period you ccess the pge: Site opened: Crete/Sign in uttons will e shown (Imge 1) Site closed: Site closed messge will e shown (Imge 2) 1 2 2

3 Step 2: Crete Account c d When JPAE is open for ppliction, you must first crete JPAE Account efore you cn sumit JPAE Appliction. Click Crete JPAE Account utton You cn use either SingPss or JPAE Pssword ccount To use SingPss ccount, you must hve registered SingPss ccount. To pply for SingPss, go to Note tht the SingPss will e miled to you within 4 working dys. To use JPAE Pssword ccount, you will need to ctivte the ccount fter cretion. An emil will e sent to you with instructions to ctivte the ccount. (See Step 2c on how to ctivte JPAE Pssword ccount) 3

4 Step 2: Crete SingPss Account Once you click on Crete JPAE Account utton, follow these steps to crete JPAE Account using your SingPss: c Select SingPss rdio utton Enter the required informtion Click Crete Account utton c 4

5 Step 2: Crete JPAE Pssword Account Once you click on Crete JPAE Account utton, these re the steps you need to do to crete JPAE Pssword ccount : c Select JPAE Pssword rdio utton Enter the required informtion. Pssword must hve t lest 8 chrcters contining upper cse letters, lower cse letters, numers nd symols. Click Crete Account utton c 5

6 Step 2c: Activte JPAE Pssword Account Once you hve creted n ccount successfully, you will receive n emil with the ctivtion link in your registered emil inox tht you hve used to crete the ccount. To ctivte your JPAE Pssword ccount, go to your emil nd click on the link in the emil. 6

7 Step 3: Login You cn login using the ccount you hve creted in the previous step. For SingPss login, click Sign in with SingPss utton For JPAE Pssword login, click Sign in with JPAE Pssword utton. Do note tht your ccount will e locked fter severl filed login ttempts. 7

8 Step 3: Log in with SingPss Once you click on Sign in with SingPss utton, you will e directed to the SingPss Pge, enter your SingPss ID nd SingPss Pssword. Then click Login. 8

9 Step 3: Log in with JPAE Pssword c Once you click on Sign in with JPAE Pssword utton, Sign In window will pop up. Enter your NRIC/FIN, Pssword nd Cptch code (shown on your rowser). Then click Sign In. To otin new Cptch code, you my click on the Cptch imge to request for new code. In cse you hve forgotten your pssword, you my click on the Forgot Pssword link to otin new pssword (Refer to Step 3c for more info) 9

10 Step 3c: Forgot Pssword Once you click on Forgot Pssword link, follow these steps to reset your pssword: Enter the required informtion (You must enter the sme informtion which ws completed when you creted your JPAE Account (refer to Step 2)) Click Reset Pssword utton. A system generted pssword will e sent to your registered emil ccount. Use the pssword given in the emil to login. After logging in for the first time, you will e requested to chnge your pssword (refer to Step 5). 10

11 Step 4: Sumit Appliction Once you hve successfully signed in, you will see the lnding pge. You re required to complete the 5 steps to successfully sumit your ppliction. c d If you hve not sumitted ny ppliction, you my click on Apply Now now to egin (see imge 1 elow). If you hve lredy sumitted n ppliction, you my click on Edit Appliction to mend nd re-sumit your ppliction. Or you my click on "View / Print Your Appliction" to view or print your sumitted ppliction (see imge 2 elow). For login using JPAE Pssword, you my t ny time chnge your pssword y clicking on the Chnge Pssword link ove (Refer to Step 5 on how to chnge pssword)

12 Step 4: Sumit Appliction (Personl Info) Before you egin, do red the instructions crefully in every step to ensure smooth ppliction process. Enter your personl informtion such s, Nme, Address, NS sttus, nd ITE Student Profile. If you sign in vi Singpss, you hve to click on the Retrieve MyInfo utton to retrieve your personl informtion from MyInfo so s to pre-fill the ppliction form. Proceed to enter the other informtion in the form fter retrieving. Use the Previous or Next uttons t the ottom of the pge to nvigte etween pges in the online ppliction or y simply clicking on the relevnt step numer. Any chnges mde to the pge will not e sved if you sign out or did not click on Next to proceed. Note: Your login session will expire if you hve left the session idle for more thn 20 minutes. 12

13 Step 4: Sumit Appliction (Acdemic Detils) Enter your completed ITE course, nd provide detils of selected ITE modules nd GCE sujects. 13

14 Step 4c: Sumit Appliction (Choice of Courses) Select the respective Polytechnic(s) nd course(s) tht you re eligile to pply for. Red the notes elow fter selecting your courses nd check the ox, where pplicle. You re only llowed to select up to 8 choices. 14

15 Step 4d: Sumit Appliction (Verify Detils) View the summry of ll your entries efore proceeding to sumit. If you wish to mend ny informtion provided in one of the sections, click on Edit nd you will e directed to tht section to mke chnges. Otherwise, click on Next to proceed to the finl step. 15

16 Step 4e: Sumit Appliction (Declrtion ) Red the terms nd conditions, check the ox nd click on Sumit. The ppliction process will e completed when the progress trcker indicted light red for ALL 5 steps. 16

17 Step 4f: Successful Sumission Pge You will see this pge fter you hve successfully sumitted your ppliction. An cknowledgement emil will lso e sent to you to confirm your sumission of the ppliction. Click on "Print Friendly" if you would like to print copy of your sumission. Click on "Home" if you would like to return to the lnding pge. 17

18 Step 4g: Print Friendly Pge Once you click on Print Friendly utton, this pge will e displyed. This is the pge tht contins your sumission. Click "Print" to keep copy of your sumitted ppliction for reference. 18

19 Step 5: Chnge Pssword Once you click on the Chnge Pssword link, this pge will e displyed. You cn chnge your pssword to new pssword here with the following steps: Enter the required informtion. Pssword must hve t lest 8 chrcters contining upper cse letters, lower cse letters, numers nd symols. Click on Chnge Pssword utton 19

20 Step 6: Result Relese Once you hve successfully sumitted your ppliction, you will e le to view your result during the period of relese of posting results. To view your ppliction result, you my ccess the sme site t jpe.polytechnic.edu.sg nd login using your creted JPAE Account. 20

21 Step 6: Result Relese Pge Once you hve logged in, you will e le to view your posting result nd the instructions to enroll for the course if you re successful in your ppliction. Rememer to sign out fter viewing the results. 21
