2 General Information Location: Eriksdalsbadet, Hammarby Slussväg 20, Stockholm Pool Type: 50 meter, long course indoor pool, 8 lanes (with capability of 10 depending on total number of participants. Swimmers or clubs not enrolled in OCTO, sign up can be completed by sending all information (Names/ Ages /Gender/ Events /Event #/ Team) to tavling@polisensim.se Last day for registration is 16 June. Start Fees: Individual start: 60 kr Relay: 140kr (read more on pg. 7) Time trials: 200kr /start Late registrations: 120kr Time trials: Only on Saturday, day 2. Only two heats of boys and two heats of girls, with a maximum race distance of 200m will be accepted. These will be swum after the conclusion of the last race of Saturday s session. Polisens IF will bill your club after the conclusion of the competition. Upon request, arrangements can be made to pay by means of cash during the competition. Prizes: Medals will be awarded 1st to 3rd place in their respective age class and gender. Winners of the HEAD Relay Cup will be awarded a Trophy. Winner of the Most Spirited Swim Club will be awarded at the conclusion of the competition. 2 P a g e

Entry through an unspecified entrance will incur facility s normal admission price. Results will be published via LiveTiming. All participants will receive access to the outdoor pool at no extra cost. Must be booked before the 16 th of June with total number of participants, send to tavling@polisensim.se. Compete to become HEAD Summer Cup's most spirited team! Create your own team s themes, cheers, chants, and costumes throughout the competition. A trophy will be awarded for the most spirited and well-themed team by the conclusion of the competition. Clarification of relay format is explained on page 7 Medals will still be given out to Friday & Saturday s relays. Hotell Malmen is located approx. a 10 min walk from the aquatic center or 1 min with the subway system from Medborgaplatsen. Lunches are ordered through Polisens IF in junction with you club s competition sign-ups. All orders must be placed before June 16 with a definite guest total. 7 Clarification of Head Summer Cup Relay HEAD Summer Cup competition will conclude Sunday with a fun, exciting and competitive mixed relay. Friday and Saturday s relays will be used to decide which relays will qualify and compete in the 8x50 Mixed Medley Relay for the HEAD Summer Cup Trophy on Sunday. Each club can submit as many relay teams as they wish for each event (ie. Polisen A, Polisen B, Polisen C). A clubs team must contain the same swimmers for both the 4x50 Free and 4x50 Medley. Therefore Polisen B 4x50 ME swimmers cannot swim for Polisen A 4x50 Free relay. Remember these are mixed age relays (a swimmer from each age class is required, and the finals will be both mixed age and gender). RELAY POINT SYSTEM: If mixed BOYS POLISEN A takes 1 st place in ME relay and 5 th place in Free relay they would have 30 points and the same swim clubs GIRLS POLISEN A takes 2 nd in the ME relay and 7 th in the Free Relay they would have 25 points. Together POLISEN A would have 55 points to qualify for the finals with. The final relay will include all the same 4 girls and the same 4 boys from their respective A relays combined to form the final 8x50 ME relay. Only the top 8 combined scores will qualify for the finals. 1 st = 20 Pts 2 nd = 17 pts 3 rd = 14 pts 4 th = 11 pts 5 th = 10 pts 6 th = 9 pts 7 th = 8pts 8 th = 7 pts 9 th = 6 pts 10 th = 5 pts 11 th = 4 pts 12 th = 3pts 13 th = 2pts 14 th to? = 1 pt EXTRA RULES: Each qualifying mixed relay must have a swimmer from each age class. These will be the same swimmers that compete in the finals. One substitution per relay will be allowed per relay throughout the format due to sickness or other possible unavoidable situations). A club must have at minimum both a mixed boys and mixed girls relay competing on Friday and Saturdays to be able to qualify for the Finals. Only a team s A team scores will be compared/added to their other A team scores regardless if a B team happens to beat an A team. But it is possible that an A and B team could both make it to the finals.
